Perfect stay close to everything

The goats and donkeys were a huge hit with our kids, we walked up the trail in the woods, and there were so many extras that we didn’t have time to take advantage of. We hope to return!

We enjoyed the goats, donkeys and especially meeting Maggie.
We will definitely recommend this place to our family and friends. We look forward to another visit.

Excellent spot for your mountain fix
Publié le 24 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis vaction rental is located in a somewhat remote but beautiful location just north of Blacksburg, VA. It is a single level ground floor unit that is attached to the host's house. Guests enjoy a spacious indoor space as well as a lovely outdoor patio overlooking a working farm and stunning scenery. We could see that it would make a great spot for Tech fans to watch and celebrate games on the tv. The host is welcoming and has done an excellent job of meeting his guests' needs with a spotless, comfortable space inside as well as access to multiple activities on the farm. While these may cost a little, they seem like a fun way to expand a vacation. So if you're in need of the fresh air and beauty of a mountain town or you just visiting Blacksburg for another reason we would certainly recommend this comfy spot.

Fantastic place! Hosts were welcoming and thought of everything. The goats were so fun to feed. Loved playing fetch with Maggie.

Charming getaway in the valley
Publié le 25 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed at the Wandering Goat Lodge over the summer while our daughter was in a camp at VT. It was a beautiful spot and an easy drive to and from the campus. The week we arrived two baby goats were born and they were already jumping around by the end of the week. We had a great time with the goats and donkeys and enjoyed feeding them snacks every evening. The view of the mountains is beautiful and there was always animal activity going on, including wild deer that wandered up to the lodge. We definitely plan to return!
