Wonderful stay at a price I can afford. No bells or whistles, but that’s ok bc I’m not in the room for extras. Just a clean and comfortable place to sleep and shower. Friendly staff. Great location for VT parents. Will be booking again.

Dear Susan, We thank you for your recent stay with us while visiting your family member.We are extremely happy to hear that you found our staff friendly and your room basic but clean. You noticed and noticed well that we don’t offer fancy amenities that other high end hotels offer in town yet you were happy with that.Guests like yourself, who understand concept and limitations of the family owned small business are backbone of our inn. Thank you for your recent stay with us and also providing the feedback over here for fellow guests.While we welcome harsh but honest criticism, we also have sets of house rules for each guest that they must follow during their stay such as no visitors, no noise, no smoking in the room or bathroom, limited housekeeping hours(9:00am-1:00pm). Guest denies room service and then picks up phone at 1:00 am in the morning is just not acceptable. In emergency situation we would help even non registered people in the need. We would encourage you to try bigger hotel chain such as Marriott or IHG brands to fulfill your future requirements. Wishing you very best.

Our strict No Pets policy is the effect for last numbers of years due to my medical condition. Many of our regulars have law enforcement or military backgrounds but they always make other arrangements before they arrive and stay here.We would encourage you to find pet friendly hotel with higher standards for your next visit to Blacksburg.
