We stayed in poppy fields the smallest of the rooms but very adequate for 2 we had 4 nights. . The description is honest and accurate. So no room for loads of big bags but a really clean comfortable warm room. Instant heat tor electric shower and basin. Electric towel rail
Electric radiator is more than sufficient for the room.
Nice tidy clean breakfast room. Great genuine service. Breakfast was well presented and good value, personal options were not a problem. A lovely place. The train set is a great feature.
Definitely recommend it.

Definitely far from the big city

The main issue we had was the internet was out and that was a bit of a problem for us, workwise (cell coverage was adequate to run a hotspot but only inconsistently) - at this point they should have a new, better set-up.

Hello Richard. We're genuinely sorry for the inconvenience.On July 11th, we changed our Broadband provider - at a point when everything was working perfectly, as it had for years. For 5 weeks our new provider, BT, tried to make it all work, without much success. We also had to live on mobile data and I know how frustrating that can be, especially for those of us who have to work.Eventually we found the cause of the problem. That gave us limited wifi in the farmhouse but it took another two weeks to organise, obtain and put in a totally new system for the guest rooms. All is in excellent working order now, since August 14th, but sadly too late for you.Regarding phone signals, there is a Vodafone mast three miles away and we find that is sufficient for all our needs here. We are rural, no question, and don't have the benefits of a big city but all things considered, we prefer our scenic surroundings - even with very occasional IT blips! Again, so sorry we couldn't come up to expectations.

The room was very clean and the staff was warm and friendly. Good breakfast, served from 8:15 to 9 AM. Perfect location to explore North Wales, particularly Snowdonia National Park and Portmeirion.
