Quiet and Secluded, Great for Bear Sightings
Publié le 28 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed in this cabin in Blairsville for 2 weeks to visit family and introduce them to our first born for the first time.
The hosts were attentive without being intrusive, and shared Ring clips with us of a momma bear and her 2 cubs who visited the property as few times during our stay.
It is very close to Vogel State Park, and the road is windy, but not challenging for your average vehicle.

We came back a second time
Publié le 27 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe first time we stayed at this cabin was last year in the fall. We loved it so much that we rented it for our summer vacation!
It rained some during our stay, so we didn’t get to use the fire-pit like we planned. It is one of the most beautiful fire-pits I’ve seen though. Every morning we sat on the back porch and had coffee. We sometimes ate dinner on the porch too! It’s peaceful and has a beautiful view of the woods.
Our other favorite place in the cabin was the game room. We played so much pool, and ping pong too. There are also quite a bit of board games and books on the top floor, and those were nice to have.
Vogel State Park is only a short 3-4 minute drive, and we did get some hiking in. There’s a dollar general store close by for basic things too.
We would definitely stay here again for our family vacations. Our pre-teen daughter loved it so much and didn’t want to go home.

Parents to older teens/college kids
Publié le 17 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was a great place to stay for our family. We have 2 college age kids and 1 high schooler. The pool table and ping pong were a lot of fun. The cabin is 3 levels so there was a lot of privacy of anyone needs a space for themselves. We did tried to enjoy all the amenities but were unable to figure out the fire place...it was most likely user error ◡̈ (we gave up quickly and used the fire pit instead ) ◡̈ We brought our own boardgames but we didn't need to because there were fun ones to choose from! We would defiantly stay here again!

Perfect!
Publié le 14 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis was the perfect place to stay for a wedding weekend at Enotah Valley Event Center in Blairsville. Less than a mile to the venue! The cabin was very clean and relaxing. Had everything you need for a great stay. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing fall getaway
Publié le 11 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe timed our stay perfectly to enjoy this little slice of heaven in the mountains. The cabin is very nice and comes with everything you need and more. This was our first experience with VRBO and we are hooked now. We are already planning on returning next year.

Quick family getaway
Publié le 16 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis cabin was perfect for a weekend get away to see the leaves changing. Husband and children enjoyed the game room with the pool table and ping-pong table. Firepit area was super nice, perfect for s’mores. Two different porches with great view of woods, and was nice to enjoy a cup of coffee outside. Beds were comfortable, cabin was clean. Very close to Vogel State Park, which was a plus! Would definitely stay here again.

Publié le 1 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThe property was very nice and well kept. I don’t have anything negative to say about the property at all. However, I did face some challenges with certain things working properly, which eventually got resolved due to the Owners help. The caretaker could definitely use some work on how they address guests going forward though, as I was very offended in how I was spoken to once I brought up the issues we found shortly after arriving. I can honestly say that no one has ever spoken to me that way during a vacation like this. Especially after we spent a lot of money to be at this beautiful home. I understand that things happen, but first impressions are everything, especially to a guest that doesn’t have the ability to see anyone that’s representing such a place. I said all that because I really do hope and believe that it could be an asset for the next group that reserves this place. Though we had a wonderful time and I personally grew to have a lot of respect for the actual Owners, we probably wouldn’t book this location again. I’d recommend to anyone that’s reading this to not be discouraged from my wording, as I’m sure experiences will vary with each guest. Give it a shot and see for yourself!

Ryan, We're glad that you found the property very nice and well-kept, we work hard to keep it this way.
- We apologize that you and the caretaker did not see eye to eye. The caretaker is our boots on the ground and we rely on them for pretty much everything. We have never had any issues with attitude nor have any of our guests. We're happy that we got you taken care of and that you got the batteries that you needed for the remotes.
We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for.
