tres abordable donc on ne peut pas tout exiger
Publié le 13 août 2019 sur Hotelsl'accueil et le service fut très sympathique, la chambre était propre et spacieuse, après c'est un hôtel dans l'ancien qui a été remis au goût du jour mais avec des inconvénients comme insonorisation de la chambre mais la sympathie du couple et le choix du petit dej ainsi que le prix tres abordable m'ont vite fait oublier tout ça

Leuk voor een nacht, maar dan is het gezien
Publié le 30 juill. 2024 sur HotelsBijzondere ervaring: op rijdagavond wordt er geen eten geserveerd, op zatermorgen is het ontbijt pas vanaf 9:00 uur. Dan zijn wij allang weer gevlogen. Weer een B&B zonder breakfast. De douche kregen we niet aan (vreemde constructie) en de deur kregen we niet op slot (ook een hele vreemde onbekende manier). Verder wel lekker rustig en pubachtig.

Shocking, and expect a refund
Publié le 14 juill. 2024 sur HotelsWell…. The manager/host was a total dithering wreck. We soon were told that there was no breakfast even though breakfast was included in the price. The rooms were so out dated and needed attention everywhere. Paint flaking off walls, mould on the window sills. We were then advised that there really was no evening meal as there had been a family party ( their family) and he wanted to leave at 7pm, and didn’t want to turn the friers on. The barmaid ordered us a Chinese locally which was nice for the price. The landlord was still there when we went to bed at 10pm. Very disappointed and would not recommend anyone else staying there.

Website misleading. Kitchen shut for 23 hrs in the day. Staff and landlords otherwise very helpful.

The property is beautiful and well kept, beautiful location. No much eating options, you need a car to drive around

Back to the 80’s!

No easily accessible power outlets and tv bolted flat to the wall so it couldn’t be comfortably watched from the bed. Had to struggle with three separate blinds on the window - felt like I’d had an arm workout by the time I’d finished! - didn’t block out the light or the draft. Cups were dirty and chipped. The keyring is so ridiculously large you can’t fit it in a pocket - I know they need to try and stop people forgetting to leave them when they check out (I had to just dump it on the bar as nobody was around) but it was almost as big as the to remote!
Doesn’t serve breakfast but this is not mentioned anywhere on the write up, hotel’s website or during communications or check in - it’s only mentioned on a notice on the wall in the room. The suggested cafe is a good 20mins walk away at a nearby school! Dinner is only available between 6-7pm (again, this is not communicated) and there’s only two options for vegetarians - a £13.00 lasagne or £5.00 soup. I opted for the “home cooked” soup which turned out to be packet soup they’d just added water to - bright yellow with about 3 tiny chunks of rehydrated carrot.
