We didn’t get the email to check in and showed up at 2:30 pm being told we couldn’t until 4. The first night there was some very loud techno beat until 4 amThe second night there was 9:40- midnight the heat wasn’t working and we were told that 68 should be warm enough. We asked for a blanket which we got but he didn’t seem happy. There was no one at the receptionist desk ever.

Best,Normal check-in is only from 4pm, unless a 25 surcharge is paid for early check-in. I would like to apologise for the noise and heating problems. The extra blanket is the least we could do. The reception is otherwise always available by phone or during reception hours.

De kamer was verouderd en stonk naar muggenspray, het leek me een typische kamer waar je een prostituee mee naar neemt en zelfs dat zou ik nog niet overwegen! De badkamer was niet degelijk gekuist (overal waar je keek zag je wel iets van vuiligheid). Zodra je in het bed gaat liggen begin je al jeuk te krijgen, gewoonweg schandalig om hier zoveel voor te moeten betalen!

This hotel is located a few minutes walk from the railway station and the main shopping street (Kerkstraat). It is 10-15 min walk to the beach. Even though I had booked a single room, I got a nicely refurbished room with a comfortable double bed. As I was arriving late, I got an email with the code to the safe box with my key. The only downside was there were no towels in the bathroom. I think they must have forgotten them. I could not get any towels since there were no staff around. Nevertheless, a nice hotel. Good value for money.

Location was fine. however, there was no disinfectant at the entrance (empty). As well in bathroom there was no soap and it was not clean enough. And in room there was no teapot, therefore it was no possibility to make a tea or coffee in the room (the kitchen was closed due to COVID 19)

Value for money

Positive points: - very good location (1min walk from railway station and shopping street) - clean room - friendly receptionist Not so positive points: - late check in (only after 4pm) - single bed was rather small - some minor broken items (wall paper, light switch) Overall: Comfortable stay. Value for money. Did not try the breakfast buffet

It was not clear that dogs were an extra 10 euros, not happy about that, and it is very noisy with screaming teenagers in the square, I would stay there again
