The second bed it a combination bunk bed suitable for i adult a two kids. The couch in the living room was terrible. If the beds were better I would rate it a 10 out of 10.

The add does not say sleeps 6 adults !! The add in fact says word for word, sleeps 6 people, and proceeds to give the configuration of the 2 bedrooms- Queen bed, double bunk and says a cot which has been upgraded to a pullout. I don't think it takes a genius to figure out that a bunk bed and a cot are probably not the best or most comfortable for an adult. But people still try to fit that many adults despite the description. You were fully aware of the configuration upon booking.

Lovely location and property

Hello Tristan,
This unit is NOT advertised as having AC. No where in the write up does it say it has AC.
I have been slowing adding the portable AC units to the Cabins that are not shaded by trees but again please don’t imply we are misleading people.

Beautiful view of the lake

Blind bay cottage
Publié le 26 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayCute cottage. Nice view of Bkind Bay. Handy dock for parking your boat. Close to gas, grocery, pub.... not fancy, but well equipped and clean. It was later in Sept and we were able to have a fire looking out across the lake.

Fun time for all

The good: quick and easy beach access
Dock and boat mooring were convenient
The water trampoline was fun
Beds were comfortable
Kitchen had everything we needed
The bad:
No screen door on the patio made for easy access for bugs, it did not get fixed during our stay
There was no A/C in this cabin though there appeared to be in other cabins. This was an issue with the smoke as we needed to close the windows and doors, but it was still very hot outside
The road noise is quite bad, it’s is a very busy road and woke us up early each day.
Victoria was very responsive, and clearly cares about her property, but there’s not much she can do about the road. Air conditioning would have made a big difference with the noise though as then we could have closed the windows.
Also nothing she could do about the smoke, but an air conditioner would have helped a lot there too.
But hey, we were on a beautiful lake and had great weather so we enjoyed ourselves anyway

Hey Sean,
Thank you for your feedback, it is greatly appreciated. Screen door is fixed now and yes not much I can do about the heat wave and the smoke this year, but will definitely invest in some A/C units for the cabins that don't have them. And well before the season starts as one could not find a fan, A/C unit or umbrella for that matter once the heat wave hit.

The Perch Review
Publié le 13 août 2019 sur HomeAwayThis property is fantastic. Close to the lake, comfy, cozy, great views of the water. I knew ahead what to expect as friends stayed there a season before and fell in love with the water trampoline. That's how I knew it was a no-brainer to rent this summer. The only thing I would change is the amount of traffic flowing through the area as this particular property is very close to the main road. Other accomodations at Blind Bay Hideaway are tucked further up the hill - which would likely make the noise a little quieter. I would absolutely consider staying at this property again! My kids and I had a fantastic holiday here and we have many good memories!
