Appleyard

The room was fine, the location was great, the bed was okay as far as comfort. It was clean. Within walking distance of town. We were only there for one night, it fit our needs and price range. We stayed there before, our room then was a little larger. Nice place. I would recommend the Appleyard.

The property was fine, nice location. But on Expedia it said $273, and at the property they charged me $379. It was not worth 379! Shower broken, but worked, mattress was HORRIBLE, took a half hour both mornings to stand up straight. It was a nice just not worth $850 for 2 nights…even on Block!

We aren't sure what happened with the pricing that you mention as you confirm the pricing before you finalize your reservation on Expedia and your card is charged that amount at that time. We will definitely take a look at the shower and the mattress. We hope that overall you enjoyed your trip to Block Island!
