A conference venue only

I booked based on location and my regular preference of venue being unavailable. I will not book here again. The housekeeping, general attentiveness and facilities leave much to be desired. Check in was an unpleasant experience. No staff ever checked on me throughout my stay or explained any meal options or services. Dirty cups were not even removed from my room for two days. The staff seemed fully focused on their conference guests and completely ignored me as a guest.

This lodge was a huge disappointment. The rooms have 4-5 beds crammed into them, no staff at the premises, our toilet was leaking so floor was full of water and at first they didn’t want to give us another room. WiFi is only available at common areas. Breakfast was supposed to be included but the staff said it wasn’t until I showed her my booking. Staff was awful, not service minded or friendly. Don’t recommend this place to anyone.

It was an OK stay - just thought it very odd that there was never a staff member or a drinks/coldrink menu or self service fridge or anything. We had to call the lodge number everytime we wanted assistance as there was never anybody on site.

Bad experience

First bad impression from the rude receptionist.The room was not that clean,the receptionist refused to move me to the other room.The decor was beautiful,beautiful bathtub and good selection of TV channels. Terrible breakfast that looked like left overs from the previous day. The service was purely terrible.

Free wifi, would be nice if it extended to the room. Spacious room, clean and friendly staff. Shopping centre down the road.

Not again.

The room was clean and comfortable, the hot water had been turned off at the stopcock under the basin and the mixer was so loose it had to be held down to operate. The shower mixer handle was not even attached and only either ice cold or piping hot settings where available. On leaving we mentioned this, the receptionist said that they were aware of the problem, and why didn't we ask for another room? Why were we put in this room anyway, if they were aware of the problem?

Booked one room over two days and we were moved from one place to another. The got us to stay the one night in the one venue and then moved us to the other venue for the second night.
