What a Gem
Publié le 31 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat find just a short drive from Bloomington and halfway to the cute little historic town of Nashville, IN.
The apartment was super clean except for spider webs which is to be expect in a cabin in the woods. It would not have been conducive to have guests staying in the living room because the bathroom is in the bedroom.

Fees were inaccurate

Yes, their offensive language continues. They did NOT pay a higher fee. They paid the amount both we and Vrbo quoted them. The grand total was the same for both parties. Perhaps they did not take into account Vrbo's third party fee? Before their arrival, we received an inappropriate email stating we were "scr--ing" them because Vrbo's invoice was different than ours. When Suzanne called the wife, she did not give Suzanne a chance to question or explain, but instead said they "would never rent with us again." When Suzanne offered to cancel her reservation because of her dissatisfaction and offer a refund IN FULL, the wife said "no" and that is was Dad's weekend at IU and too hard to find accommodations...so they were keeping the reservation but "never coming back!" Suzanne assured her that Peter would take good care of her husband, and it was fine that they never came back. Curiously, husband left a very nice note in the apartment journal saying how great his stay was. ???! Go figure.

Peaceful and quiet
Publié le 2 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt is not lake front property or steps from the lake. The lake is a local attraction several miles away. The host was absolutely the best you can ask for and the property is beautiful. Wasn’t what we were expecting but definitely not disappointed. Will definitely book again in the future . Would be 5 stars for cleanliness but we had to remove a lot of cobwebs and live spiders

Great overnight stay

Girls trip
Publié le 27 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayMy best friend and I came for a girls weekend. We liked that it’s close to Bloomington and Nashville and was still out in the country away from all the craziness. Our room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of walking around Nashville. We will definitely be staying again.
