Romantic Getaway

My girlfriend and I went for our anniversary and let me tell you this place was awesome! We loved the fact that it was extremely private. The hot tub was great! Walking down to the river was so easy and beautiful and the fire pit was a hit. We loved cooking and enjoying the quiet woods. Blue ridge was only 10-15 minutes to downtown which was perfect. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice simple getaway! We have save it and will definitely be back for our anniversary next year!

Deceptive and disgusting

Like the title says, deceptive and disgusting. That goes for the cabin and also for Vacasa (the management company). I stayed 0 out of 4 nights as the conditions were filthy and I do not enjoy vacationing in filth. Vacasa investigated the matter and quickly got back to me to say something along the lines of “sorry about you luck” as filth is not a reason to not enjoy a vacation.

Really Cool Cabin

We had a great time here! The cabin was really cool! The hot tub was great on a big back deck. We had a nice walk to toccoa river and watched some fly fisherman. This is a really excellent place to stay! Chris and sarah

One year anniversary trip

This was the perfect little cottage for me and my handsome man to spend our one year anniversary. The only thing I was suggest is maybe putting a cover over the hot tub so if it’s raining, we could still enjoy it.

First the cons. I tried to contact through the VRBO app about a Keurig with no response after 3 hours. I did get answers from a call and a text fairly prompt. There was no grate in the charcoal grill. Glad I changed my mind and left the chicken at home. The outlets in the kitchen do not work. Take the coffee pot to the bathroom. The hot tub head rest are missing. The TV does not have cable/satellite per VRBO (although there is a cable running to the TV) so take a fire stick or equivalent with you. The door code is 10 digits. Now the pros. The lot/view/location is amazing. Love a gravel road. Really I do. The house is well appointed and comfortable. Updated. VERY clean. The bathroom and bedroom are large and nice. King size bed and large walk-in shower. The second bedroom is good for kids but beware if you have two couples. You have to walk through the master to get to room two or go outside and around. The kitchen has most everything you need. The living room has good seating and large windows to see out. The outdoor amenities are nice. Very large deck with steps to trail to the Toccoa. Yes it’s a hill but easily walkable. The fire ring area is nice. It was too cold and no wood so we didn’t use it. The hot tub is large and clean. We had a great stay! The minor issues won’t keep us away. They should be easy fixes. I highly recommend.

It’s good to know that you found our home well-appointed and clean and that you’d recommend it to others– we appreciate that. That said, we apologize for any inconvenience you encountered and our local manager assured us that the grate for the grill has been replaced. Additionally, they noted that the breaker might have been tripped and the outlets are operating properly now. The hot tub has never had a headrest and we are truly sorry for any disappointment this caused. To clarify, although you booked through Vrbo, you will communicate with us during your visit and you can call our Guest Services team 24/7 or utilize our Trip Manager portal, whichever you prefer. We enjoyed having you as our guest and we hope to host you again.
