Private Getaway on the McKenzie River
Publié le 3 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe wanted a cozy cabin near the river and other local hikes. This property fit our needs and was very private. The view from the picture window and large deck was so beautiful with large growth trees and ferns. Cross the bridge and go down a magical little patch to your own spot on the river. So peaceful and scenic! It was my dad's 82nd birthday and he absolutely loved it. The low step in shower made it accessible for him as well. The WiFi speed was outstanding (we weren't expecting that!) and our pup was allowed which is a must in our family. We are definitely interested in a return trip.

The cabin is spacious enough to accomodate a small family, with 2 beds in the loft space, a futon in the living room and the large bed on the main floor.
The river is not just outside, its a short walk but totally worth it. And you can hear the river from the moment you get out of the car! is

Out of town visiting for lil brother's wedding.

Whish path to the river was more open. Place was very clean. Close to restaurant and a little market.
