Double Wide in Distressed Neighborhood

We walked in the place which was actually a double wide mobile home on cinder blocks in a mobile home development in a very distressed part of town. Did not feel safe. Neighbor had a rooster. Towels were just washed and still damp because the dryer was not working right. Dryer Vent blocked with lint another fire hazard. The mirrors and pictures and tables were smeary. Oven and hood greasy looking. I fell thru the dining room chair. The place need paint so bad the walls and baseboards so beat up.Smoke detector detached by previous guest per owner. Fridge had a couple of cords coming out of the floor taped together? Another hazard. The patio furniture was as dirty and mildewy. Crayon on the walls in the bedroom behind a chair. A damaged lamp (fire hazard) next to the bed that looked like a fire hazard. Master Bed was comfortable but when you layed down at night you could stare at the the leak marks on the ceiling. Master bedroom ceiling fan did not work nor the Master bath exhaust fan did not work both previously reported by other guest. We did not appreciate being duped by the ad. Owner offered to clean the place and advised she was renting so much she didn't have time to do any maintenance

I am truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. I would like to address some of the points you raised in your review.- I would like to clarify that I never said I haven't had time for maintenance due to high occupancy. What I explained was that I touched up scuff marks left by previous guests but stopped to avoid overwhelming paint fumes for new arrivals. I apologized to you and planned to complete the touch-ups when there was more time between guests.- The property is a manufactured home, accurately shown in the ad photos. The neighborhood is safe and friendly, as confirmed by other guests' positive reviews.- Regarding cleanliness, I apologize if the property did not meet your expectations. I inspected the home and found it to be clean. My cleaner also took photos after her work. I offered to have her return to address any concerns, but I did not receive a response from you.- The issues with the dryer and the smoke detector were unfortunate and have been resolved. The smoke detector has been replaced, and the dryer vent has been cleared. Safety is a top priority, and I appreciate your bringing these to my attention.- I apologize for the discomfort caused by the dining room chair and patio furniture; these issues have been addressed. The master bedroom ceiling fan doesn't work, so a stand-up fan is provided.- Your feedback on the furnishings and condition has been noted. We strive for high standards and will make improvements as needed. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Great location in Bluffton

We enjoyed our stay in this cute cottage. The close location to Old Town Bluffton was perfect. The neighborhood was ok and we felt safe and it was perfect for traveling with our pups. Some of the furniture pieces in the living room were a bit dated and somewhat mismatched. The kitchen was well equipped but the microwave has seen better days. The ceiling fan in the master didn’t work but we were comfortable and the beds were dreamy. We didn’t use it but the enclosed patio was a nice touch. Overall, the house was perfect for our needs and we would stay again.

The house was as listed and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood and was great for bringing our dogs. Only suggestion would be to add a small fenced area off the patio for the dogs.

We enjoyed our stay even though there were several items that need addressing. 1. Air handler was making loud noises when we first turned on the heat. After about 15 minutes the noise stopped. 2. Ceiling fan in master bedroom does not work. 3. Exhaust fan in master bathroom does not work. 4. Bed frames have very sharp corners and are too high.

We had a good stay. The unit was as advertised. Very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Bluffton is a nice town with a lot to see. Hilton Head is also so close. We highly recommend. We will stay again in the future.

Relaxing Girls Getaway...

The house was cute and comfortable in a nice quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed shopping and dining in the local shops and the beach was not far away. A perfect trip for 3 'golden girls'!
