Very nice older motel.
Publié le 21 juill. 2024 sur HotelsThe motel is well maintained and a good value for an inexpensive one. I have only a few issues. The pool was drained and looks like it had been for awhile. The in room coffee was undrinkable. There's not much in the way of food choices near by.

The room smelled terrible and was in bad condition but I was tired after 10 hours of driving and thought I would try to ignore it and get some sleep after spraying room deodorizer all over the place. But within half an hour I got bug bites while sitting in a chair at the table before I even got into bed. So I didn’t even unpack. With bugs that aggressive I knew how miserable I would be after a night in that bed. I told the woman at the front desk that I would have to leave and wanted a refund; she was unhelpful and said that she would “leave a note” for her supervisor. I said that I wanted to speak to her supervisor about a refund now, and she gave me a name and a phone number. I asked if the number was the supervisor’s. No, it was the number of the front desk and I could call her during the supervisor’s next shift, 6:00am to 4:00pm the next day. I am amazed that Rodeway Inn would associate its name with a property in this condition, and I believe that I was duped by reviews that couldn’t possibly have been referring to rooms remotely like the one I was expected to use.

The staff went above and beyond to be helpful, especially since signing onto the wifi was such a pain.
