Comfortably furnished home looking out over the 14th green of the Bodega Harbour golf course with views of the ocean and Bodega Head. You can enjoy a round of world-class golf, then have dinner in the Club House overlooking the ocean. Later on, watch the sunset from the private hot tub, while enjoying a glass of local Sonoma County wine, then fall asleep listening to the sea lions barking on Seal Rock and the fog horn in the distance.

Windsong, with over 1,800 square feet, is ideally laid out for two couples or a small family. Generous master suite has a king-sized bed, private bath and cable TV. The guest bedroom has queen-sized bed, cable TV and adjacent private bath. Bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house, offering extra privacy. Top quality linens, hair dryers, washer/dryer, ironing board/iron are all provided. Kitchen has been remodeled including granite counter tops and new appliances.

The well-equipped kitchen leads to the dining area which comfortably seats six. You will also find a wonderful selection of cook books and elegant artwork all over the house. The living room features a huge fireplace with copper hood, and leads to the solarium with TV, DVD player, movie library, CD player and CDs. There is a breakfast area looking out over the golf course, and sleeper sofa for the comfort of extra guests. Glass sliding doors lead to the private hot tub. There is a Weber propane BBQ on the back patio.

Windsong has a high speed internet connection via Comcast cable to accommodate people who want to get away but have to stay connected. There is a wireless router to allow use of your own laptop with wi-fi card.

Bodega Bay is a quiet, secluded, peaceful sanctuary, yet only 55 miles from the sophisticated City of San Francisco. Hiking and bike trails abound providing the means to explore the rugged coastline. Enjoy a walk around Bodega Head or take the Pinnacle Gulch trail, which leads directly down to the beach and which is within walking distance from Windsong. There are many local activities in Bodega Bay, Bodega, Sonoma, Petaluma and Sebastopol, such as the Fisherman's Festival and wineries in all directions.

We’ll be back!
Can’t say enough good things about our stay at Windsong. Prime location, amazing views, cozy common areas, comfy beds… and pets allowed?! What more could we ask for! Our family of 4 (and pet children) loved every second of our vacation, and we can’t wait to come back. The home was well cared for, and Jada great feel to it. We felt so welcome!

Always a very comfortable stay. Very well stocked with all amenities in a quiet spot with a majestic view. Entry and exit a breeze as owners are thoughtful and cordial. We are repeat renters for very good reasons.

Great house and location. Front door needs fixing. Our wives were unable to unlock or open it when unlocked. I cut up the top of my hand while forcing the door open. Master shower is so-so, the shower water went instantly from cold to hot and was mod dangerous when hot. Simple repairs would help guests be more comfortable.

Nice house on golf course in Bodega, excellent comfy beds, nicely appointed kitchen, conveniently located to all that is wonderful in the Bodega Bay area. Great info from owner, easy access at check, nice to be able to use the garage. One wee issue - need some new batteries for the remote for the fan in the family room.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The location was excellent, the home was well-appointed and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything one would need. The beds were great. If we had any complaint, it would be the water pressure and length of time it took to get any hot water in the shower. Definitely not something that detracted from our overall experience.

Communications with owners was great. Easy access to retrieve key but locking and unlocking the place. Was a challenge. Quirky older place, but cozy enough for our family and pup. The beds were comfy too and lots of TV’s if that’s your thing while at the beach… Kitchen amenities were sparse . Old cookware. Lots of spices etc. though. We especially enjoyed watching the golfers and the view of the water along with beautiful sunsets. We had an unfortunate dealings with ticks on myself and dog so we we made our trip shorter than anticipated.

We were so delighted with our stay at Birdsong. The home is even nicer than the photos convey. Beautiful setting on the golf course with pretty ocean views. The home is so comfortable. The architecture of the home is very custom and so marvelously laid out. It is spacious, high end finishes, nicely and comfortably furnished and the host(s) are so accommodating and friendly. We loved our stay and hope to come back next year.

We’ve stayed at this home a few times. Great location, comfortable, and a nice area for walks. Close to restaurants. The home had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and there was an outdoor hot tub. Nice and quiet. Owners were helpful and responded to emails. Great Four Two Couples
We love this house and working with the host. We've stayed at Windsong several times and enjoy. The house has a great set up for two couples with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house is cozy, has a great kitchen, hot tub with a view, a real gem. We will be back.

Scenic golf course stay, relaxing, comfortable. Many restaurants nearby but closed on Tuesday& Wednesday. Found restaurants that were acceptable and very good. Only complaint was hot water took a long time.

Bottom line: Good value for the location and property. Pro: - Unbeatable location with easy access to town and Doran Beach. The neighborhood is quiet and very nice. - Kitchen was generally well-stocked and easy to use; we made multiple breakfasts and full dinners (knives are dull but that’s a minor complaint). - The garage is huge and can fit a small SUV; I appreciated that they gave us full access. - Fantastic fireplace, and the property provided three Duraflame logs. Cons: - We felt a bit deceived about the Tesla charger, which wasn’t available (as of this review, the property advertises a Tesla charger and even has a picture of it); - The owner gave us email and a cell phone to contact with questions, but then wasn’t available for several days (we eventually got hold of the alternate number); - Fan in the second bathroom is broken, and based on the condition of the ceiling seems likely to have been broken for a while.

WINDSONG was the perfect rental for our 4 day getaway to Bodega Bay. Conveniently located to everything we wanted to do during our stay, the house is perfectly appointed and the bed was really comfortable. We would definitely book here again!

Charming and lovely
Absolutely precious. We were in love at the entrance. Deer, hummingbirds and a breathtaking view welcomed us. Everything was perfect. Very comfortable beds!! Tons of Books, movies and games that we never got to investigate but will next time. Thank you for a lovely stay.
