Beautiful, quiet and peaceful

Stunning views, super clean, gorgeous cream tea and lots of clear instructions to be able to get on with a brilliant and much needed break. Mick and Janine were always on hand and really helpful. Lovely to meet the pigs and the chickens and make the most of the moor which was new for us as we normally stay on the coast. Lovely to be away from the crowds this year. Local pub is also great and very friendly for us with our 2 slightly nervous dogs. Thanks for a lovely stay x we wouldn’t hesitate to come back x

Super cosy cottage In a fantastic location right on the moor.
Publié le 18 avr. 2021 sur HomeAwayFantastic stay at the Old Barn. We all feel in love with the teeny weeny pigs on the farm and the friendly shetlands on the moor. Great location to base yourself and visit Northern Cornwall.

Barn Cottage

Water was piping hot, beds comfy, kitchen well equipped.
If you can’t live without your ‘phone or computer then you’ll find the Broadband speed frustrating .... but that’s Cornwall, generally.
We have close ties to the area and will use Barn Cottage as a regular stop.
Hosts welcoming and attentive.

Bodmin moor cottage
Publié le 6 sept. 2019 sur HomeAwayA lovely stay, owners on site and very helpful. Cottage was perfect for the three of us and our dog. The moor was literally round the corner and it was very peaceful.
It was a great base to explore north Cornwall , which we did , along with being able to visit relatives.
We would most certainly return again.

Urlaub in ländlicher Umgebung
Publié le 29 juill. 2019 sur HomeAwayIn ländlicher Idylle haben wir einen schönen Urlaub in Nord-Cornwall verbracht. Wir können das Cottage sehr empfehlen, auch für Familien mit Kindern. Es ist ein zentraler Ausgangpunkt für tolle Ausflüge. Ross und Brenda sind zurückhaltende und sehr umsichtige Vermieter.

Plenty of walks nearby 2 stone circles within 2 or 3 miles if you are into such things, fairly central so both coasts are within easy reach by car. very pleasant hosts. ***** five stars !!

Peaceful retreat

Very peaceful and close to nature, you never knew which animal would be outside your bedroom window. The moors were literally on your door step, shop and pub within walking distance. Made to feel very welcome by owners.
