Nice trip

Wir sind alle begeistert von dem Haus und der Umgebung. Im Haus findet man alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Wir haben in den Betten sehr gut geschlafen, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und der Garten ist sehr schön. Ich kann dieses cottage nur bestens weiterempfehlen, A. Stahl

Shippen - September 2024

Lovely property

Nice property with plenty of space and a lovely garden. Good location for us with easy access to various places. Host was very informative and helpful. Loved the scones.

The property was everything we needed and in a good position for getting about , will definitely book again,the scones, cream,jam and Prosecco were a nice touch oh and the biscuit.

Beautiful cottage

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Shippen. It's a beautiful property in a lovely part of Cornwall, and we thoroughly enjoyed our week. It is lovely and clean and comfortable, and larger than I expected. I was impressed with the thought that had been given to the needs of the holidaymaker. The house has everything you could want, and the garden is fantastic. I loved how there were plenty of hooks everywhere and a shoe rack. There is nothing worse than having coats, bags and shoes all over the place! The lounge is a lovely place to spend the evening with a meal or drinks and snacks whilst watching TV, if you're not fortunate enough to have the weather to sit out. We enjoyed a nice meal at The White Hart (I can recommend the pie) and the café in the village is lovely. We also had a nice sunny lunch outside The Sea View farm shop and a JustEat delivery from a Nepalese takeaway nearby, the food was delicious. If you're in to sunsets, Trebarwith Strand is a great place to go. There are lovely days out to be had in the area. Porthcothan Beach was our favourite and we enjoyed Port Isaac, Boscastle, Tintagel, Fowey, Bedruthan Steps and a gorgeous walk around the cliffs at Pentire and The Rumps. The coastal views are amazing. We didn't have any issues, but I knew Liz was a phonecall away if we had needed anything. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay and I wouldn't hesitate to book again if we decide to make the long journey down from 'up North'. Thanks Liz and Tim x

We were especially impressed you thought of checking JustEat, because we didn’t know they serviced the area at all yet! We will be trying that out for sure next time we stay! Also, Porthcothan beach over by Padstow is a good shout for visitors - a long stretch of gorgeous soft sand and clear water. Excellent Property

We had a fantastic stay, garden is beautiful our dogs loved it. Garden furniture is excellent quality. Cottage is well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

The Shippen

This accommodation is perfect. Everything in the Shippen is well thought out, everything you need is in the accommodation. Our dog loved the garden as did we it is so peaceful. The Shippen is perfectly situated for days out at Rock, Tintagel, Port Isaac and Padstow. All nearby beaches are dog friendly as are the majority of pubs. We can't wait to go back there next year for more rest and relaxation.

Beautiful cottage

We spent a week at this beautiful cottage, with family and 3 dogs. Kitchen was well stocked to a high standard, everything was high standard throughout. Was peace of mind to allow the dogs free to run around in the garden. Property was well located to travel all over Cornwall and Devon.
