Great but located in "no man'sland"

It is located in luxuriant gardens, has a lovely swimming pool (especially great for children!) and the fitness centre is located in a superb pavillon of its own. The problem is that it is far from the city centre ... and you cannot go there by bike as I thought we could because the bikes from the hotel are in poor condition and the way to the city very difficult to find
