We pulled up to the property and it was dark. There was construction tape preventing entry to the front of the parking lot and construction equipment where cars would normally park. I assumed the place was closed. I then checked my email saw an email from Hampton Inn advising me that during the "renovation" the front desk, the pool, the laundry and more would all be closed. I have no idea how I was supposed to get in, but I did not even try. I found another Hampton Inn nearby and stayed there.

I'm so very sorry that you didn't see all the signs directing you to the other side of the building for checking into the hotel.

Overall the stay was great. But, the building was under construction so it was a little chaotic. While brushing my teeth in the morning the wood panel that covers the sink pipes fell off and smashed my ankles and feet. When I let the staff know, they said “ok we will let maintenance know.” The property itself is beautiful and in a quiet safe area. Room was big and super nice and clean.

They not only overcharged but charged my credit card twice. For some reason the website doesn’t let me talk about being taken from a money perspective so that is all I can say. The place is a dump right now. They have not done well with the construction. I would absolutely not book here. I am still trying to get them to respond to being overcharged and charged twice on my credit card.

We have searched the credit card transactions and do not show that you were charged twice for your stay with us. I only show 1 charge to the credit card on file for your reservation. Other than seeing your review we don't have any record that you contacted us about this charge. Please call the hotel at 208-877-3600 option 2 to reach the front desk.

Nice people, smooth check in. Only draw back was it was being remodeled but we didn't here the workers as we arrived at night. The staff did all they could to ensure our stay was a good one. We'd go back!

Booked this hotel solely for the hot tub and pool for the kids. We get there and both are closed for construction, something that should have been mentioned somewhere in the booking process or in some way prior to booking. We stayed only because it was less than 5 minutes away from why we came into town.
