Stunningly beautiful small and private resort

Posted Jul. 17, 2014 on Expedia
Pros: Quiet, relaxed, everything you needed but nor over the top. Beautiful fresh rainwater to drink. Lobsters were delicious!
Cons: Fan in room was not very efficient - possibly needed a long stem.
Location: A boat trip from Santo - on a calm day it took 25 minutes, on a windy night it was closer to 50.
We stayed for 5 nights, which I think was about perfect - enough time to relax but not so long that we were bored on such a small island. The reef was beautiful and had lots of different corals, along with loads of fish. We don't dive so we snorkelled each day. We took our own masks but used Bokissa's flippers, which were excellent. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Whilst there was a child there (12 year old) while we were there, it seemed much more suited to couples.

Pros: Superb snorkeling and resort diving. The Coolidge is in easy reach too.
Cons: The food was a little rich (creamy)
Location: superb snorkeling
Facilities: Modest, Good size -need a refresh; Value: Reasonable, Try and get a deal.; Service: Fine - a little off hand; If you're keen to try kava - apparently this is a good place for that.
