This is an attractive 1930's style boathouse with dramatic views from the common area porch. The Allyah room is small with a queen bed and very little room to walk around the bed. Worst the bathroom was across the hall. Good news they provide robes for your nightly visits. Too small for us

We are sorry that you were not pleased with your room and perhaps if you would like to return, you book a room that would be more to your suiting. It's too bad that your only comment was on the room and not on the property that you seemed to enjoy so much.

This was our first time visiting Lake George, and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay than The Boathouse. The room was spacious and comfortable, and had everything in it a traveller could possibly need. The breakfasts were terrific. The location is superb, and the house itself is historic. Best of all, the owners made us feel more like house guests than guests at a B&B. If we return, as we hope, we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else.
