Such a lovely weekend away from the stresses of everyday life. The host was lovely and inviting. In a great location away from noise but a short drive from places to visit.

Great little retreat

Absolutely loved our stay. We had 7 days of absolute heaven, away from all the pressures of life. Great place for your four legged friends as well, we could let them play freely with the knowledge that they were safe and secure. Hosts great and always available. Will definitely be staying again. (Darren, Carol, Alfie and Skye).

Arrived friday mangers to property said hi heres book and contact number for friend who.was only popping into.freed ther pets as they was away for weekend . Pictures on.line look.nothing like the place , but the cabin.was cosy , advert says there is bbq we was told it its in kitchen area its was still.in box had to buld it before use , paths overgrown couldnt get to excrise area for dog ,could not see signs to entrance to property if you dont look carefully you miss the red 5 bar gate to entrance ,mangers came back.late sunday sent txt to say they was back but didnt see any 1 as we left bank.hoilday monday but it didnot spoil ower weekend away

Hi Wendy Good to hear you had a good weekend away. Thanks for your patience, unfortunately we where in a difficult situation as last minute due to illness the people coming to stay and look after the place didn't come, whilst we went to a friends wedding, so we left a day later than planned in order to meet you. Not a situation that has happened before or will again. With the drier weather we have been very busy pruning and clearing overgrowth, August was difficult with wet periods. The entrance - we painted the gate red so people can spot it there is little space to put signs so lower on the ground. Thanks for your feedback

Spend a few days with kids 12 and 9. At first they complained especially about the outside toilet :) they cried when we were leaving that they want to stay. We have a great time collecting firewood, lighting a bomb every night. on the last morning a little robin flew into our cabin. It was amazing to be able to help him to get out. Great place to slow down, and enjoy every moment.

Best trip ever

Made to feel at home. Great staying with Jane,Martin and dog Nel. The cottage was just what we needed tucked away. Basic and wonderful. Will definitely stay again

Lovely and peaceful stay

On arrival I was met by Jane. Her dog Nell played with my dog which was lovely. The cabin was comfortable and roomy. It was lovely to be able to sit outside and relax and unwind. The little kitchen was a nice place to prepare food. If you are looking for a place to unwind and get away from the hustle bustle of daily life I can highly recommend it.

So glad you enjoyed your stay , we try to work with nature here ,loads of different birds and wildlife, a sancutuary for Humans as well . Nell liked playing with your lovely dog, been awhile since she`s seen other dogs with the pandemic, back doing dog adjility/flyball -sleeps for a week after that :) Your both welcome any any time,all the best. kind regards, Martin & Jane.
