Most remarkable hotel !

Most remarkable hotel I ever stayed in ! Cause is highly unlikely to sleep in the midle of the winter in a Deluxe grand room (350€) in a 5 star hotel (who granted them ?) without heating (not bad heating but total lack of heating). And even more remarkable with the hotel manager’s complete knowledge of the situation!!! Would I recommend it ? With certainty and with all my heart…but only on the first of April.

This hotel is amazing. One of the most memorable we have stayed at in Europe. Awesome views of the German countryside and the Rhine. Excellent dining as well

Not a great 5 Star Hotel (during COVID)

Nice hotel but during COVID pandemic they are not up to speed what you would normally expect from a 5 Star Hotel. Order room service (since restaurants are closed - which is COVID related and nothing they can do about) but the soup arrived cold and the club sandwich was ok but not especial and the Schnitzel was below average but I was hungry so did eat it. Again no problem but not what you expect from 5 Star Hotel. We where only 5 hotel guests in total and asked for a room with a view - that request was denied... ??? They also managed to mess up my bill so I paid the room service of another person (did not check at checkout since the amount was more or less what I consumed so I guess all was good...) Breakfast was very slow but good. I can understand why the hotel is cutting on staff ect... but then I would rather close it (like many other 5 Star Hotels did) and not run a poorly managed 5 Star hotel since I will never come back here since it was not worth the money and the management did not make any effort to make our stay better (room with a view) or great room service food... Again I am sure this is a great hotel normally but right now they are not making the best out of this situation...
