A wonderful get-away!
Publié le 30 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayI spent two nights at Mountain Mystique to visit with my son over the Thanksgiving holiday. I could not have asked for better accommodations! The cabin was very clean when we arrived and I felt at home immediately. The ambiance was sp very warm, and peaceful. I hope to return to Mountain Mystique within the year!

Great Stay, Great View

Very nice but Needs s little love
Publié le 3 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat location, cabin as described. Enjoyed sitting on deck with fire table going. Coffee maker did not work, French press broke when we tried to use it as an alternative. Big Branch precariously hanging over the deck. Yards/grounds are looking a little rough.

We are sorry you felt your stay was less than 5 stars. We ask guests to let us know ASAP if there are any issues so we can resolve them. There is a backup coffee maker in the pantry. Had you let us know, we would have informed you of this. (The coffee maker and french press were both working prior to your stay. Appliances do break and when we are notified, we do our best to replace in a timely manner). We sent you a message via VRBO to ask if you found all well at the cabin; however, you did not respond.
As most people are aware, Hurricane Helene caused much destruction in the area. Tree removal services have been swamped; thus, we are awaiting the back yard to be cleared. The parking area is fully accessible with no debris.

Wonderful time

They had plenty of nice things to enjoy such as a grill, fireplace, porch lighting, tv access, full bath, and lots of kitchen amenities. My partner and I had the best time and would definitely recommend. The driveway was a Bit of a challenge at first but it’s was worth being up in the woods for.

Perfect spot close to Boone for a Getaway
Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayMountain Mystique was a perfect, quiet getaway near Boone. The town was only 15 minutes away, but we enjoyed being up high with nice view through the trees. Inside was well kept, comfortable and homey. Great base for our vacation.

Driveway was a little more steep that I thought. But my front wheel drive didn't make it up.need AWD
Publié le 20 août 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was peaceful, cozy, relaxing, just all around beautiful place to stay. Looking forward to staying in this beautiful cabin again in the future. Had everything you needed from the kitchen to the bathrooms. The grill was a plus for cooking out on a back deck. Love the rocking chairs and watching the hummingbirds feed.
