The perfect family wedding!
Publié le 8 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayJust WOW! The photos just don't do this house justice. We were completely blown away by the views, the amenities, the quality of all the finishings. Every bedroom is unique but so comfortable.
We had 19 adults staying in the house but its so large you felt like you could always get some peace and quiet if you wanted and there was just so much to do you would need a fortnight to enjoy it all!!!
We booked for a small family wedding and it couldn't have been more perfect. Getting married with the views in the background and having everyone in one spot was exactly what I wanted, not to mention who else has photos of them coming down the multiple slides in a wedding dress :-) The kitchen has double of everything so absolutely no problem catering on a large scale.
Whether you are having a family get together, a special event, or just a plain old vacation - BOOK THIS HOUSE - you will not regret it!!!

Family Fest

The accommodations went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The hospitality and response of Arcadian, Julia, was superb. After our stay at Peachtree Ridge it will be hard to find a match for our next family gathering!

Amazing place!
Publié le 14 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis home was the perfect place for us! We had a large family gathering with multiple ages and interests. There was something for everyone! I think every game was played and every room used. The kitchen and patio grills/griddle made it very easy to cook for the large crowd. The kids of course loved the slides and playhouse within the house. Exploring when we first arrived was so much fun. The views were amazing from the porch and it was a private location. Would highly recommend this house!

A "Cousins' Week Dream"

We hosted our annual "Cousins' Week" recently, gathering my two siblings and their children for a week of family versus family pool, dance offs and air hockey tournaments. The house was beautifully decorated and well kept with plenty of beds and amenities. We will absolutely keep this one on our list for a return!

Exceptional Stay

Arriving at the home was curvy, but straight forward. There was plenty of privacy and parking areas. The views were spectacular. The house comes stocked with just about anything you could need and all the finishings are of very high quality. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was more seating than we knew what to do with. We especially enjoyed the 2 outdoor fireplaces where we could unwind and roast s'mores in the evenings. Lastly, our hosts were very accommodating and polite. I simply could not ask for anything more. 5 full stars!

Introduction of families and wedding
Publié le 16 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property manager, plumber, EVS (housekeeper) were all amazing! The house was wonderful! Did have some mild issues that were quickly corrected. The images of this house do not do it justice! It is HUGE!!!
We all loved the extra perks like the candy/popcorn in the movie theatre, and s’mores for the many fireplaces.
We held our wedding on the porch with the amazing views! There was plenty of space and seating for everyone. Young and old alike enjoyed the multitude of amentities. The kids even managed to stay off their tablets because of the 3 slides in the house and all the other activities.
Our favorite…the two zero gravity electric massage chairs!! There was a waiting list constantly for them.
Do wish that there was a second bathroom on the lower level, but overall very pleasant stay.
Some arcade games were not working and it looks like the tv in the theatre will be upgraded soon.
Would recommend having instructions posted on how to operate the sauna and spas. It was a lot of trial and error for us.
The drive up was not too difficult for our handicapped guests that required wheelchair use and oxygen. Will say that this house was not completely handicapped accessible, but our one guest was able to manage the few stairs and stay on the main level with wheelchair use.
Would definitely like to come back! It is a must for kiddos! They fought over the tiny playhouse beds.

Amazing Mountain Home
Publié le 17 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a group of 20 including 12 kids ranging in age from 8-16. This home is absolutely incredible. There is an abundance of activities for all ages. Our kids loved all of the arcade games. The adults spent most of our time taking in the amazing views from the deck, kitchen and family room, as well as sports and movies in the theatre. We cooked our meals each night and the kitchen is well equipped for preparing and eating for large groups. The property manager was very responsive to our requests. This home exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend!
