It was a rustic old pub, the staff are great but its just dated.

Peter,Thanks so much for your review, the score of two is well under our normal score and probably does us a lot of damage as a business.We have worked incredibly hard bringing this old girl into the new millennium and spent large sums of money especially bringing the infrastructure up to today's standard.These old hotels in many instances have been let go and deteriorated beyond repair. In our case, some of the visual stuff has been taken care of in part, our focus has been to do everything correctly, often starting from scratch. We have a long way to go.Thank you for staying with us as it is with your patronage that we are able to bring this wonderful Heritage Listed delight back to its former glory.Best wishes,Michael Ward, owner

Its a very old pub, from another time. Quite picturesque.
Great meals in the dinning room, and rather interesting breakfast arrangement on the closed in verandah.
Our bathroom was at the end of the other verandah, not really the greatest thing on a cold night.
Our room was lovely

Was one of the best pubs I’ve stayed in? The only let down was a walk to the shower or toilet but good value stay.

Awesome little spot. There were so long term tennants who looked like workers from out of tiwn who were up early, but otherwise quiet. I had a room on the balcony and wasnt bothered by the noise coming from the pub at all.
Great spot for a pint and dinner too!
