Gorgeously remodeled and perfectly located on Atlantic Avenue in Boothbay Harbor, this two-bedroom property will place you within easy walking distance of the footbridge and a wide assortment of charming shops and restaurants. This space occupies the first floor of a larger home, with its own separate entrance and an interior that has been beautifully renovated and upgraded with new furnishings and finishes. Gather around the table in the light-filled dining room each morning, bring in a platter of pancakes fresh from the fully appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and make plans for the day's kayaking or whale-watching excursion using the free WiFi. Bring home some local seafood to sear on the gas grill, soak up a bit of sunshine outside on the back deck, and spend the evening in the company of board games and a flatscreen TV with a VCR and a DVD player.

This home is located on Atlantic Avenue in Boothbay Harbor, just down the road from the footbridge that leads over the harbor into downtown. You'll need only your feet to reach the Boothbay Lobster Wharf (a quarter-mile south), Tidal Transit Kayak Co. 1. the keypad on the front door did not work 2. The TV did not work 3. There was little to no instruction to show how to turn on the TV and/ or accessories 4. There was no printed welcome packet nor a any information about local interests and dining 5. Given the inability of the phone support people to render the front door keypad servicable, we did not have time to call and discuss How-To make the TV work. 6. Generally disappointed with these basic condo elements that did not work 7.The condo was clean and sufficient towels and linens and kitchen utensils were supplied.

Prime location and incredible view!
Overall an excellent location, a beautiful property and a very safe area! Unit was spacious although the furniture could stand to be modernized. Minor concerns: vacasa was always prompt in replying to concerns but never actually fixed anything. TV doesn’t work and is missing needed cables and batteries. Only one AC in the whole apartment and it is in a back room. I had to rig up another one myself using masking tape and a bubble envelope to replace the missing parts. Doesn’t seem like they have a local person to repair things. Other than that, a great unit!

Great Location
The house was nice, and the location was great. You’re seconds from the footbridge with access to dozens of shops and restaurants. Please note, there was no washer or dryer on site (utilities mentioned on vrbo site coin laundry - but there is none on the actual property). Beds were comfortable, but could use a little updated furniture in the living room area. The property had tons of tv channels and cable which was nice.

Property was exactly as listed. Comfortable bed. We’ll stocked kitchen. Clean. Check in instructions said to use key pad to left of door. In fact, you entered the key code in the door handle itself. When we realized that was the case, we were able to access the property.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable and included a parking spot. The location made the downtown area very walkable. We had a little glitch with the lockbox when we first arrived. But assistance from property management services got us into the property in no time.

Everything was clean and wonderfully decorated. Very close to grocery stores and a few restaurants....most shops were closed for the winter but the ones that were open were fantastic !! I highly recommend this property.

The location of the house was fabulous, could walk everywhere.
The house location was great. We were disappointed with the small size of shower, the poor quality of towels and poor quality of living room furniture. you should have a larger couch you can stretch out on (not a love seat) and those swivel chairs are junk. you should have dimmer switches on all high-hat lights in ceilings. The shower also had mold on the bottem 2 feet of shower - you should call your cleaning company.

Cute place in a perfect location
Place was very cute and perfect for our family of four. Our favorite part was how close it was to the footbridge and how easy it was to walk to shops, restaurants, and our whale/puffin cruise. If you've ever traveled with young kids then you know how much less stressful it is not to have to load in and out of car seats to drive everywhere on vacation. Day trips were also easy - we walked Ocean Point and visited the Desert of Maine. On our one rainy day, the kids enjoyed the Kids cable package at the house. Would most definitely return to this one!

Wonderful Time!
My daughter and I came to Boothbay Harbor to visit the Coastal Maine Botanical Garden. We found Jean's Outlook clean, bright and cheery, very comfortable. It is located a short walk to the footbridge and down town, where we ate at some wonderful restaurants and did some fun shopping! The Gardens are only a 9 minute drive; one of the very best we've seen. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

Great location, very little communication
We have been traveling to Boothbay Harbor for a few years. The location of this property is great - close to the footbridge but not in the center of town. The property is very much as advertised - and is clearly only for rentals, not used by the owner. My biggest complaint is that there was virtually no info provided about the property either at checkin or at arrival - simple things like “the coffee maker is a Keurig” or “this is how you operate the TV” would have been quite helpful. The other issue was that the house was musty smelling despite the A/C. Overall, though, clean and quiet and a good landing spot for a vacation trip.

Awesome location and house
We really liked this. It's right near downtown, less than a minute walk to the footbridge and also by a number of restaurants on that side of the foot bridge. The house was very clean, and even though the listing didn't state it had AC it did have window units which was a huge savior in the heat. All in all great place!

Great spot to enjoy Boothbar Harbor
This was our first time in Maine, and we felt this was a great introduction! The house was in a great location, close to the Footbridge, so it was very easy to get around and enjoy Boothbay Harbor. Our unit was spacious enough for our group (4 adults) and very well-kept. There is no a/c (which is accurate in the listing) but luckily we had perfect weather, highs only around 70 degrees. One bedroom and the dining area face west, so we were able to enjoy the lovely sunsets. The back deck was perfect to enjoy your morning coffee or read. There was ample space in the driveway to park our rental car. The bathroom was clean and the kitchen had what we needed (although we didn't do any cooking). Overall, highly recommend this apartment.

Quiet get away stay
Great grill! Barrett Park nearby nice. Pemaquid Point Lighthouse open. Enjoyed using kitchen. They are still working on house next door but didn't bother me, nice seeing them fix up an old house.
