Great but too expensive

Room rate is too high for this tired room. Bedding is not even average which is not acceptable for this category. Same for the unexpected chemical fruit juice the morning in this sunny country! Appart from that, the staff is really friendly and helpfull and food was good. The pool is great and the location on the beach perfect! This resort is already a "great" place where to stay in Boracay but I would have expected "amazing" for that price.

hotel propre, préférer dîner ailleurs car prix élevé. Plus calme que les hôtels voisins. Piscine pour enfants. Personnel très sympa et efficace.

very disappointing on many levels, not a 5 star hotel. food was terrible and service was worse.

Beautiful location on station one (quieter end). Direct beach access is awesome, staff were lovely. Rooms were spacious and clean. Kids loved the pool and beach. Only comments would be that restaurant is fairly expensive and meals/drinks were fine but there are really good options around D’mall (Station 2) for half the price. We also had an issue with the tour operator that the hotel booked us. The Ambassador staff were apologetic, but the process where the hotel take a booking deposit (which they must keep) then have you pay the operator the remainder, leaves guests vulnerable to the operator adding additional fees and just saying “oh! didn’t the hotel tell you about that”. Ambassador should manage the whole booking and pay the operator directly so the guest does not need to haggle with the operators, as it ruins the experience to be asked to pull more money out of your pocket while you’re snorkelling. It’s unfortunately typical for Boracay’s reputation. Beach tour vendors wouldn’t be much better… maybe try to book online with someone that looks reputable??? I’m not sure what the safest way to go is.

Fantastic location right on white sand beach and not far from D'Mall. Plenty of loungers to soak up the view. We loved the pool and live music every night Friendly and efficient staff who made our stay special Room was a little tired and lack of power points (and no international power points at all). Breakfast was a low point - both in quantity and quality.

We had a great stay. The bed mattress is so great, like a nice memory foam. I had great nights of sleep. Staff were all polite and ready to serve. Swimming pool was always clean. The hotel room and surroundings were always clean. Will come back to this hotel.
