We had a lovely stay at this property until the morning of our departure. We had been told that breakfast was included with our reservation so we had no idea how much it cost individually. We needed to check out early and were planning to grab coffee and croissants when the check out staff person snapped at us and said your breakfast is not included and I’m putting yesterday on your bill. To our shock and awe it was €20 per person. We would never have requested that had we not been told it was included. There was a beautiful patisserie just around the corner. The staff person was the most rude person we encountered during our entire holiday. Really disappointing for such a nice place.

Fabulous hotel (with interconnected room options)
Posted Aug. 7, 2024 on HotelsThis hotel is amazing. The staff were helpful and friendly, great communication before and during our trip… they couldn’t do enough to make our stay anymore comfortable. The hotel building itself is clean and the rooms were of reasonable size. We also needed interconnected rooms and they were provided easily, based on a quick email to hotel reception. The great thing about these rooms is they had a private door before the rooms themselves so you could keep your bedroom doors open safely. Rooms 307 & 308.
The location is superb. Easy to get to on public transport from the airport (50 mins and two trams, super simple). The stop is Grand Theatre and is right outside. Once checked in, we were able to wander around easily and see lots of the city. The transportation system is fantastic and meant we could experience more of the city.
I would highly recommend this hotel for any stay!
Thank you to all the staff for a great trip to Bordeaux.
