Updated rooms, good restaurant

Very nice hotel right on the water in Newton. I stayed for two nights as part of a business trip. I would stay there again. The rooms are recently updated with a sort of modern feel. I ate at the morning breakfast buffet, which was solid, and in the restaurant for dinner. The dinner entree was delicious.

Quiet older property. Very good front desk staff. Ease of check in and check out.

Our room faced the river. They had a small table and chairs to sit outside the room to enjoy the view.

When checking out at 4AM 21st/Sept, no attendent was available at the front desk. Restaurant waiters were professionally competent and good.
