Perfect North End Studio

Centrally located studio apartment in the heart of downtown Boston in the North End. Fall in love with the mix of old world Italy and downtown Boston in a recently renovated apartment that is a short walk to TD Garden, Faneuil Hall, the harbor and aquarium, and the rest of Boston.

Our ~450sqft studio unit is in a professionally managed walk up building (somewhat steep/narrow staircase as is typical for the area). It is well laid out to maximize space and is perfect for couples and travelers.

There is a full open kitchen with new appliances such as a refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, and cooking utensils, pots, and pans for you to cook with.

The bed is queen size along with a dresser and full closet with hangers for you to use.

Brand newly renovated bathroom includes a stand up shower.

We provide all linens, towels, and basic toiletries for your stay.

There is no laundry in the building, however there is a laundromat right next door to this building.

Walk up building - no elevator.

Great cozy location in the heart of the action
My husband and I stayed in this darling little unit over St. Patrick’s Day weekend. It was clean, the bed is comfortable, the location is perfect and the host was extremely responsive. We will definitely stay at this location again when we return to Boston.

Living in the North End
Hi stayed here for 10 days while working on business development and visiting friends. It felt like my old days when I lived in the North End. The stairs are narrow and winding to the 3rd floor so beware depending on luggage. This was quite large for a studio and was nice that the kitchen was a separate room with a door.

This is a wonderful property in the North End. We comfortably slept 3 of us in the unit with plenty of closet space and dresser space. We had all of the kitchen utensils and accessories that we needed. Location was perfect as all the restaurants on Salem and Hanover were only a few minute walk. I would recommend to anyone!

Location good, property as depicted. Only problem was shortage of towels. Three towels not sufficient for ten day stay for two people. Requested additional towels on day seven, delivered on day nine. Otherwise fine.

Fine but not for me
Context: we stayed 2 nights at the end of 3 week holiday so admittedly we had some travel fatigue but also not as luxe as other VRBOs we've used on this trip. I would have booked a hotel if Boston wasn't so expensive. The stairs are as described; truly narrow and steep so be mindful of your ability to get heavy luggage up two flights. Pros: centrally located, walkable neighbourhood, affordable Cons: bed too hard and hot, amenities lacking (half empty soaps/shampoos, only two towels provided, women have hair to wash/dry), too much light in bedroom, noisy neighbourhood next to fire station (I get it, emergencies happen, love a host that provides earplugs). Like I said, it was fine for two nights, especially given how expensive Boston is, but after 3 weeks away from home, I was wishing I was in a more comfortable bed, with better curtains and linens.

One week stay was fabulous. Easy walk to historic sites, restaurants, bars, Zip cars and public transport. The apartment had everything we needed. Was small, but perfect for 2. You must be able to climb fairly steep stairs. Very clean with updated everything. Will stay again on next trip.

Great location
This property is in a great location in the north end of Boston. It is close to most attractions and many restaurants (mostly Italian.) The apartment itself is very small with tall steep stairs you have to navigate to the third floor. The listing indicated that three people would be able to stay, but there is only the one queen bed and a blow up mattress for the other. The bedroom with the blow up mattress would leave very little walking room. There is a separate kitchen area that you could put the mattress in if you wanted. The couch in the bedroom area is only loveseat sized and would only be appropriate for a small child to sleep on. Despite small quarters, the apartment is clean, modernly decorated, and in such a convenient location to so many things that it is definately worth the stay!

Amazing Property in a PERFECT Location
The host, Jay, really set us up for success with this one! The property itself was spotless, it had everything we needed, the AC was cold, and the house was stocked with all of the essentials. The property is in the heart of the North End, which is where we spend most of our time when we visit Boston. Everything you need is within walking distance. Jay was very communicative leading up to our trip with passcodes for wifi and condo entry. Jay also responded very quickly when I reached out with a question during our stay. I highly highly highly recommend this host and cannot wait to come back and visit again! A+ experience overall.
