Disappointing but, clean and convenient if you have a car.
Publié le 10 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe accommodation was clean upon arrival (we did find multiple spiders during our stay) and the email provided was well organized and provided all needed information.
I will say make sure to really read through the description. They are up front that the ceiling height is only a little over 6 feet as this is a basement apartment but, it is very small - the shower I had hard time trying to wash my hair as I was hitting my elbow off the wall, two people can't be in the kitchen area at the same time. It also states there is a full size fridge this is not true - once we put a gallon of milk in there we could barely fit anything else. There are a lack of outlets in convenient places like by the bed.
While there is a main door with a smart lock - the door inside the apartment has no lock - which did make us feel uneasy. There are also two doors that have locks on them that appear to be access points for the main unit.
We checked in on Tuesday, we noticed the smart TV and our devices would lose wifi every 2-10 minutes. I reached out to the host who responded and said they would contact the service provider and get back to me right away. I sent a follow up message Thursday and Friday - to enquire about this and had made it clear to the host that I had work that needed to be completed - 72 hours later and they finally responded, we were disappointed in this level of customer service, it shouldn't take 72 hours for them to respond and at the very least check in.

Our stay at Suite at House of L

Publié le 5 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved the area, the sense of community, and the charming park across the street. Locals were nice and helpful. Good pizza place, a Dunkin, and a great Colombian bakery just down the street as well. This is really a great location. We took Ubers to the city to do the Freedom Trail and there was always a car close-by.
The rental itself was nicely appointed, we didn't want for anything, and we very much appreciated the welcome gift in the fridge! We spent time outside in a nice little sitting area, and we really appreciated the work the owners have done to make the little area outside charming with nice plants and landscaping. My only suggestion would be to keep fresh coffee in the freezer because the coffee in the container on the counter was a bit stale. No big deal with a Dunkin just down the road! All in all, a great stay.

Boston Bucket List
Publié le 14 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay! We loved having our coffee in the little garden in the mornings before we left for a day of exploring! We would recommend that the porch entry way drain be repaired. There was rain while we were there and had to walk in water to get in the door. Other than that we had a wonderful trip.

Publié le 2 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayIt was very cute and comfortable. I was not expecting the stairs I use a cane and it made me a little nervous. It all worked out though. I did find it to be a damp nothing dried well. I would suggest a dehumidifier. I would still stay there again.

Tengo problemas motrices, no puedo caminar sin ayuda. El inmueble se encuentra en un sótano con escalones sin barandilla. Salí de la propiedad antes de las 11am, estando en el parqueo haciendo unas llamadas, vi llegar al personal de limpieza y me cobraron US$ 100.00. No lo veo justo.

Great Place Near Boston for a Couple

The unit had everything we needed, was well stocked, and loved that we could walk to a convenient store or restaurant when desired. The community also felt very safe. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a small, quaint place near Boston.
