The hotel has been renovated very nicely, but still has that old school vibe. Everything was exceptionally clean. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Location was excellent, walking distance to so many shops and restaurants. The only downside is there are no amenities, the bathroom was big but poorly designed. All in all very minor things. Would stay here again, this is just not the kind of hotel that offers a lot of on site amenities. Would definitely stay again.

My wife and I just spent two (2) days and nights at the Hotel Eliot in Boston. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is definitely one of Boston’s “best kept secrets.” It is a hotel that exudes class and service. Our suite was luxurious, well-appointed and large. The staff are totally professional, courteous and helpful. The hotel is in an ideal location on the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Massachusetts Avenue. Great shopping, restaurants and sites — including Kenmore Square, Fenway Park, Newbury Street and all of its shops, Public Gardens, Boston Common, Berklee School of Music, Charles River, etc. — are all within walking distance. We traveled to several other locations in the city by Uber and never waited more than 4 minutes for our Uber to arrive. I love this place, will definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Hotel Eliot to everyone.

The price was incredible for the suite we had and the setting is wonderful for the holidays. My only complaint is that our room was near the elevator and the cleaning supply closet which was noisy. Other than that, the stay was perfect!!
