Check in took an extremely long time. They didn’t have enough staff to do so. Most of the rooms were not ready for MULTIPLE people checking in. Some were delayed hours. Additionally, a lot of the parking spots in the garage were double parked making it near impossible to park a small SUV.

We had a medical issue and had to stay near Boston. Hotel was much nicer than expected. 2 great restaurants plus a Starbucks. Right on the Charles River overlooking Boston. Amazing views. Christina took care of us amazingly and got us checked in early so we could make our appointments on time and not rush. Just a great experience overall.

Spectacular View
The view was incredible especially on a clear NYE. Seeing the Charles River, Boston, and fireworks from the room window was amazing! The only challenging part was the wait for the elevator. Aside from that, I loved the stay.

I reserved two rooms weeks before our stay, and phoned directly a few days before to ensure that they would be adjoining rooms. The front desk agent I spoke to confirmed the adjoining rooms. When we arrived shortly after the 4:00 pm check-in time, only one room was ready, so our party put all our stuff in that room and headed to our event. When we returned to get keys to the 2nd room (around 10:30 pm), we found that our 2nd room wasn’t adjoining, and was on a different floor! We were traveling as a family with 2 minors (hence the request for adjoining rooms, so this was unacceptable. We were offered no solution or recompense, and so cancelled our 2nd night’s stay, and will never stay there again. Even without this specific situation, the hotel was very inconvenient - one of the two main elevators was out of service, and the check-in line was slow and inefficient at best. Also - the stairs option (that we tried because of the broken elevator) didn’t allow you to exit the stairwell at ground level without using an emergency exit that would set off an alarm. Not ideal.

Absolutely lovely hotel for families. Beautiful city view. The only downside was that one of the elevators was out of service, so this meant long waits for the working elevator. But it seemed like this was reflected in the outstanding rate we were able to get for two rooms.

Such a great stay!
Fantastic stay all-around. Fabulous location, easy-parking, wonderful staff, quiet rooms and comfortable beds, plus great views and an indoor pool. Hotel and rooms need some upkeep (rip in carpet, fridge didn’t fit into the cabinet so the door won’t close, marks on wallpaper, etc) but these are all tiny details that are to be expected in a city hotel.
