Nice stay
Publié le 20 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe flew in on a red-eye, and Jon arranged for Sherry to meet us at the rental bright and early, that was much appreciated. Location was great for us as it was convenient to our son’s college and Logan airport. We really enjoyed walking along the Harbor Walk to North Station for the T. All in all, a nice stay.

Green turtle
Publié le 18 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was great. Comfortable stay. The only issue we had at all was leaving on the last day. Driving out there was no key pad to enter the code we had been given. Had to push a button and talk to a person. We didn’t have the information she wanted so it took a few minutes to get. Fortunately there was no body behind us so it worked out. That needs to be cleaned up.

So sorry you had trouble getting out of the parking lot! Unfortunately the keypad is on the gangway to get off the dock and you needed the parking fob to get in and out of the parking area. We will be sure this is clarified in the future. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay!

Wonderful stay in Boston Harbor

He was very welcoming and helped guide us to the harbor from the Airport.
He greeted us at the harbor parking lot and informed us of where to park and how to get around the harbor.
He graciously helped with our luggage and walked us to the wonderfully kept "Green Turtle" houseboat.
The exterior and interior was immaculate and well maintained. And had all the amenities you need.
Jon was very helpful in describing the best places to eat, to visit, and ways to get around Boston.
The best recommendation was the Harbor Ferry. It made getting back and forth from Downtown Boston simple punctated by a wonderful 15min cruise through the Harbor ($3.70 each way).
Highly recommended, book with confidence and have an unforgettable stay in wonderful Boston Harbor unlike any hotel in the city.

Floating in the middle of Boston
Publié le 29 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was every thing we expected and more. Very comfortable with all the niceties from home, i.e. microwave, coffee pot, dishwasher. We did order in one night, so this was very convenient. The location is outstanding. Walking distance to the constitution and Bunker Hill a short Uber ride to the north end. I don’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone we look forward to returning.

A unique fun place to stay!!

The hosts were fabulous and very informative on how to get around Boston and gave us recommendations for wonderful restaurants within walking distance of the houseboat!! The houseboat was very clean and comfortable and the hosts provided pastries for our breakfasts which was very appreciated!! We would definitely stay at the houseboat again!!

Great intro to Boston!
Publié le 16 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayMy partner had never been to Boston where I had lived for 10 years, back in the 1980's. The houseboat was a perfect stay as we both love the water and boating. It's cozy, charming, and a delightful experience we'll always remember. Jon was a wonderful host, and we were welcomed by his wife's delicious banana bread! We highly recommend the accommodations.
