Cabin getaway in beautiful Redwoods
Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HotelsRelaxing cabin for us, 2 adults, one teen and a 6 yr old. We enjoyed the view of the creek, and seeing the redwoods outside. As others have mentioned, it is rustic…not luxury, and that is what we were looking for. Full kitchen, but we only used microwave to heat food. Queen bed was comfortable, though pillows were thin. I’d recommend bringing your own, as well as towels if you like your own fluffy thick ones. The first night we arrived (Fri) property wasn’t full, and we parked easily. It became full by Sat evening, and we had to be extra careful maneuvering in/out of our spot. Sewer line smell happened for about 45 min Sun morning, but went away. I figure it’s part of having cabins/RVs in a semi-rural area. Masood is very friendly, easy to checkin and checkout. Will come back.

Always a nice place to stay

Not a lodge, its a motel, 1 night stop over!
Publié le 12 août 2024 sur HotelsMasood's Lodge is far from a lodge. More like a motel, it offered little comfort. The constant barking from a nearby dog made sleep impossible. The overall atmosphere was far from relaxing. While it might serve as a basic stopover, it's definitely not a holiday destination. We were eager to leave even though we paid and could not get a refund, and find a more suitable accommodation.

Hi, sorry you couldn’t reach us. I wish you would have called the office, we would have moved your room but most importantly addressed the dog barking issue, that’s never acceptable. After receiving your message in Expedia you could have expressed your concern before leaving the lodge so that we could best assist you. We never have problems communication is very important.

A relaxing family cottage

A great, quiet place to spend two nights over July 4 with my wife and dog. We walked to restaurants for dinner. The room was clean and appliances looked new and in great condition.

This love is rustic and unique. My 82 year old mother wanted to go to a cabin in the woods and hear a stream. I wanted to go to the beach and have fun. This was the best of both worlds! She LOVED the cabin and the deck and the sound of the stream. She was like a teenager video’ing and sending to the family. We both LOVED Masood. Cannot wait to go back. It’s a beautiful and peaceful place within a 30 minute drive to the beaches and bustle of Santa Cruz. Rustic rocks!
