Petit hotel en bord de plage, vieillot mais très propre et très chaleureux, confortable, personnel très sympa , très bon petit déjeuner (chaud et froid) seul petit hic: la faible pression de l’eau chaude au2eme étage mais c’est tout à fait secondaire par rapport à tous les points positifs. On y retournera volontiers car nos promenades commençaient à la porte de l’hôtel

Publié le 23 août 2017 sur HotelsHôtel un peu vieillot, mais pour un établissement anglais de cet âge, la plomberie des salles de bain est très bien (vrai mitigeur dans la douche). Il fait partie des 'Old English Inns'
Chambres sobres mais propres, et c'est très suffisant pour y dormir (n'est-ce pas ce qui est recherché lorsque vous partez à l'étranger, pourvoir dormir confortablement?)
Petit déjeuner complet, avec différents menus (dont un pour végétariens)
Personnel jeune, souriant et agréable. J'y retournerais sans crainte.

Bon petit déjeuner copieux mais vaisselle sale le premier jour.
Personnel gentil.

Good stay, helpful staff but sometimes the food is not as good as comparable eateries on quality and price... still I would recommend as stayed here quite a few times

Very limited parking. Inside the rooms were tired and could do with an update. Meals were a good standard. All Staff were very friendly and attentive.
Overall we had a pleasant stay.

The first thing noticed was that part of the hotel name was missing from the front of the hotel which we realised was indicative of the overall thoughts whilst staying there. The lift had no lights when using it so you had to remember where the floor numbers were before you entered it. The food in the restaurant was not of good standard, the steak ordered was medium and arrived 'more' than well done, the chicken caesar salad had just four small pieces of chicken.
The room was tidy but soap dispensers in the room and bathroom were empty. The toilet failed to flush on several occasions the switch for the bathroom extractor fan was out of reach for average height visitors as at 6'2'' it could barely be reached it over the bathroom door.
A shame because the location of the hotel is very good and it had the potential for being a good stay. .

Good location but there does seem to be some staffing issue at the moment re cooking and service
