A spacious new-build luxury two double bedroom (with king size beds), two bathroom (one ensuite), top (2nd) floor 800 sq. ft. apartment sleeps four comfortably in a quiet, leafy road on the edge of Talbot Woods, Bournemouth´s most prestigious residential area - a central location offering fantastic transport links to local amenities & only (1.9 miles – 7 minutes by car) from the cafés, coffee houses, shopping, restaurants, bars & nightlife of Bournemouth town centre, which has also been blessed with miles of award winning sandy beaches adjoining Poole (Harbour), Sandbanks & Jurassic Coast beyond.

Modelled on a luxury 5* hotel suite and built by us for our family - with a teenage daughter and two young boys, we always struggled to find a 5* hotel that lived up to expectations in terms of quality, furnishings and accommodation, always struggling with adjoining rooms (if they were ever available) and frequently forced to pay for at least two or even three (hotel) rooms on occasions.

So much better than a hotel!

We rented James' lovely flat for a few days to visit with friends and family in the Bournemouth area. Usually we stay in hotel rooms when we visit - this was so much more relaxing, it was a haven to return to every day! And walking distance to Waitrose! The flat is in top-notch condition, and provided everything we needed in the kitchen, and even a drying rack for our loads of laundry.

A lovely family break in the Summer holidays

We travelled as a family (2 adults and 2 children) and enjoyed our stay. The information sent beforehand was useful, and the check-in was straightforward. The apartment had all of the facilities as advertised, and it was nice to arrive to a bottle of wine! We had no problems with the 2 flights of stairs to the property. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. There was a washer/dryer (essential when travelling with young children) and a dishwasher. It was also nice to have the Nespresso machine with capsules provided. There was a good size fridge/freezer. The kids enjoyed the entertainment with Google assistant, and TVs with Sky and Netflix. The only negative was the size of the allocated parking space. It was tight for a medium/large car. This was not a problem for us because there were no parking restrictions on the road at the time we travelled (the parking restrictions are lifted during University holiday times). Overall, we had a lovely stay and enjoyed exploring Bournemouth and the surrounding coastal areas.

Fantastic place

This property is 2nd to none , from the outset of viewing and enquiring about this property , James the host was spot on answering all questions I asked very promptly and professionally. We was met at the property by 2 very welcoming faces Claire and James daughter heather . Lovely flat. Warm and comfy.

Spent a week at this flat. Good sized rooms. Nice bathrooms. Generous bedrooms. Kitchen living room very smart and generally well equipped. Wine on arrival was nice - though a pint of milk would be most welcome. Two flights of stairs to flat - no lift - only tricky if stairs are a problem. Parking space outside off road. Enjoyed our stay and Nicola was very helpful with our requests. Would happily stay here again.

Gem of a property!

Very modern and clean!

Very comfortable stay - everything we needed in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Sofa was comfy. Brilliant - only sad thing - it rained most of the weekend but at least had a nice TV to watch and could access Netflix. Only moan and its really petty - there was no hairdryer - never stayed anywhere where there isn't a hairdryer in a drawer somewhere. Bit worried about using the wine glasses in case we broke one!!

Wonderful stay in spacious flat

My teenaged daughter and I stayed in this beautiful and clean flat for 8 nights and could not have asked for more. The kitchen was well appointed, bedrooms spacious and comfortable, plenty of televisions that worked. I was concerned about the lack of air conditioning as I am not used to humidity, coming from a desert region of the USA, but nights were delightful with the windows open, and there were only a few rare occasions that I did feel a bit warm inside. The flat is located in a great area a short walk from the shops and restaurants in the Winton area, and a short walk from the University, which is where we needed to be close to. The bus stops right across the street and goes to both Poole and Bournemouth. There are 2 flights of stairs required to get to the flat, I would not recommend it for anyone with a disability that requires assistance in climbing or difficulty with stairs. Otherwise, it was not difficult to climb the stairs and I would highly recommend staying here. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome from Lisa, who lives in another flat on the property and was readily available to answer my many questions. There was a bottle of wine waiting, fresh flowers, and some gourmet chocolates. Waitrose grocery was just down the street and made it easy to cook most of our meals in the kitchen. There is also a combo washer dryer in the flat. It was a perfect stay, hope to return again in the future!

Perfect weekend escape!

Beautiful apartment; no expense spared. Has everything you could possibly need. (Teenage boys impressed with the technology!) Spotlessly clean. Beds are most comfortable. Great flat very clean and tidy just a few minutes drive to the city centre. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything even tho we didn't cook. The landlord James communicated effectively and responded to the emails on time. Lisa checked us in, such a lovely lady and peoples person. My friends have seen the pictures and are dying to rent the flat during their holiday. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Ill give it a 5 star as I see myself going back there again.

Excellent property, all mod cons, and REALLY comfy beds. Easily the best we have ever stayed in.

A lovely, spotlessly clean apartment, beautifully furnished and with everything we needed in the way of equipment and utensils for a self-catering holiday - so much more than just the basics. Great attention to detail by the owners. The flowers, wine and chocolates were a lovely surprise on arrival - thank you so much. Great service from the moment we booked, right through to departure, and really good communications with the owner. The whole process was stress-free. The weather was ever so hot when we arrived, and we feared that the lack of air conditioning might be a problem, especially being up on the top floor in the 'penthouse' so to speak, but with plenty of windows open it proved to be not only light and airy, but also comfortably cool. A special mention for the fabulously comfortable beds (both bedrooms furnished with large king side beds). I suffer from chronic lower back pain and the one thing I dread when going away on holiday is a fortnight sleeping - or not - in increasing discomfort as the holiday progresses. So pleased to say that this was not the slightest problem during our stay; in fact I would go so far as to say that the mattresses were even more comfortable than our really expensive one at home! This was a perfect holiday home for us, not just the apartment itself but also the location, which is less than a 15 minute drive from the sea front and Bournemouth Pier, but at the same time in a quiet area thus avoiding being disturbed by the more raucous night life that a stay in a seaside town can sometimes involve. Also just a short walk from a handy Waitrose, and a short drive from several retail parks as well as Bournemouth town centre and some lovely restaurants, pubs and well-renowned fish & chip shop in nearby Wimborne. Our party comprised 2 adults and one teenager (myself and my husband and our 15 year-old daughter). We're all fit and healthy, so the flights of stairs up to the apartment which was on the 2nd floor was no problem for us. There is no lift. This might be a problem for anyone who can't easily climb that many stairs, so probably not suitable for the elderly, disabled or those with very young children. Again not a problem for us, but furniture included glass tables with some sharpish edges, so again not for young children. Otherwise though we'd have no hesitation in heartily recommending this property for a lovely holiday.
