We are very sorry to see that you did not enjoy your stay with us Emmanuel. This is not something that we hear often and we receive lots of compliments about our staff and how friendly and helpful they are. It's unclear from your review what the issues were but if you would like to get in touch with a Director at the hotel - they will certainly look into it for you.

For the price i paid, the rooms was very basic, too kany furnitures, bedding n towels had a oily fishy smell, stair way was old n tired, again had a stuffy smell, bathroom had mould stain marks, dirty n very basic. Food, wasnt nice for price you pay, fish and chips, fish batter was uncooked, breakfast was not worth the price you pay, bacon looked as if it had gone off, cheese/ ham had finished but not replenished, limited fruit selection. Staff looked as if you were annoying them and i felt we couldn't ask them anything.

We are very sorry to see that you didn't enjoy your stay with us Michelle. The hotel is over 100 years old and we are constantly investing in the building and facilities. Bedrooms are all a different shape and size but have all been refurbished to the same standard. Our bathrooms are next on the list along with air conditioning which will involve a lot of building work and therefore our corridors will be redecorated following this. We rarely receive detrimental reports about our food so we hope that you raised this at the time. It's even more rare to receive poor feedback about our team who we receive constant praise about so we are very sorry that this was not your experience.
