Appaloosa One sits right beside its sister Cabin, Appaloosa Two with Trails leading to the Oconaluftee River for fishing access. These trails are not handicap accessible but we do provide a paved road with a parking area for handicap access. Appaloosa One has two bedrooms each with queen size beds, one bathroom, One living room and fully furnished Kitchen. Minutes away from Harrah's Casino and Downtown Cherokee.

Host was responsive. Heat was brokenday before we arrived but was able to beat with fire place just fine. They have tv but the only issue is they don't get live networks sports or news.

Our host was very helpful, he made sure we could contact him it there was any issues, which there were none. There was everything there we could have possibly needed. It was very clean cozy and just down right adorable. My husband and I will definitely be staying there again our next time through the area.

Anniversary and mountains

We loved our stay! To be honest, we spent most of our time out of the cabin and enjoying the surrounding areas. But, we are glad to have found this little place and plan to return to enjoy the river more, the fire pit, and do some sitting on the porch! The cabin was clean and ready for immediate use, zero bugs anywhere which my wife appreciated, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The tv’s were a little tricky to figure out, and I don’t think we ever did but were able to find some things to watch at the end of the day. We appreciated the collection of DVD’s, although we didn’t watch any, it was nice to have that option. Local channels would have been nice to have just to stay on top of any weather related emergencies or alerts for the surrounding areas, but luckily, our weather stayed lovely for the entire trip! Can’t wait to come back!

family get away

If you like looking at a flowing creek relaxing , hiking , rocking on a quiet porch. This is the cabin for you. Then go crazy at a casino. get back to the cabin, have a fire. great place to do that.very clean and super cute cabin.

The property is amazing and less than 5 minutes from the casino. Beautiul river, but didn't have my fishing pole this time, but next time will definitely bring it and there will definitely be a nexttime.
