Publié le 27 août 2024 sur HotelsSolo pasamos allí una noche de camino a otro lugar, pero la estancia fue cómoda. La habitación era bastante pequeña y la cama no especialmente cómoda, pero supongo que tratándose de un hostel y para una estancia corta es una buena opción. Los baños compartidos se veían limpios.

All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful during my stay at the Soca Rocks Hostel. I will definitely be staying here again next time I am visiting Bovec.

Basic but clean with a nice bar
Publié le 19 sept. 2020 sur HotelsSlight problem with check out, as I was asked to pay the hostel when I had already paid online and had to prove this. It took a long time to rectify but was fine in the end. Just be careful not to pay twice if you pay online! Accommodation was simple but clean and comfortable. Perfect for a couple nights and lots of activities to be involved in if that's your thing.

I am sorry for all inconvenience regarding the paying, but normally our guests always pays after check-out, so therefore was a bit of confusion, but at the end was everything okay.

Good base for Soca Valley
Publié le 4 sept. 2020 sur HotelsConvenient and cosy stay in heart of Bovec. Competitively priced. Friendly hosts. Only downsides were low ceilings:have to be careful to not hit your head if in top bunk; and paucity of charging points in dorms.

Otherwise, there are 6 charging points in each room, in case it's not enough you can always come also to common room and use it here.

Nice hostel, offers good help with activities in and around Bovec. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and there’s a nice common area/bar downstairs and a kitchen offering all necessary amenities. Bovec center with all restaurants and bars is a short walk (around 5 minutes) from the hostel.
Rooms can get very hot during summer. Also the curtains did not cover our full window, the light in our room woke us up relatively early. Our room was located on the bar/street side, it can get quite loud on weekend days, but it didn’t bother us too much. The refrigerator in the kitchen could use some cleaning, as it was a bit smelly.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write us such a wide review. We really appreciate it! It will for sure be a nice help to people arriving at Bovec :) It is the truth that the vibe at the hostel can get lively on Fridays and Saturdays from times to times as there is a bunch of young people around and they are looking to have a groovy summer night. We are really trying to direct them to the nearest pub for that. Sometimes we need to try a lot! So sorry that the morning light woke you up. We have a plan to change the curtains in the near future. And we sure are paying more attention to the refrigerator. We also hope your overall stay in Bovec was just as lovely as it is for us leaving in this beautiful part of the World.
