Winter getaway
Publié le 12 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat location. Spectacular views. House is comfortable & well-appointed, though living room furniture is a little worn. Minor issues with the keypad. Took more tries than necessary to get it to work each time. Instructions for TV remotes and fireplace would have been helpful. Again, minor issues. Overall a great cabin.

Beautiful but clarity needed
Publié le 17 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWonderful property on the water. Beautiful views. Private but close enough to essentials and plenty of sight seeing/activities.
The canoe on site still has at least one of the same holes mentioned in a review a year ago. Only one person can use it or you will sink. I did not want to be the one.
Picture shows boats on dock, but there is nothing on the property you can use. Should be very clear in the listing.
I did find a nice, reasonably priced rental facility about 15 minutes away. Seaspray Kayaking and Paddle in Brunswick.
We would stay again, but make sure we have a good vehicle to transport kayaks.

Perfect place to relax

We will be back for a third time!

Wonderful, relaxing cottage
Publié le 26 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe loved our stay at the cottage. One morning, we saw an eagle swoop down to catch a fish and saw two seals swimming by. The kitchen had everything we needed. The water pressure in the shower was very low, but hopefully that will get fixed soon.

Just Perfect

Short weekend trip
Publié le 21 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe rented this property for three nights. We chose it due to the water view and it’s proximity to Augusta as my husband was racing in the 70.3 Ironman. The house was very clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the kitchen appliances, pots and pans that we needed. The view was absolutely beautiful and we took full advantage of the fire pit and dock access. The property management team was very thorough and sent updates about early check in being available which was an added bonus. This was our first VRBO rental and they made it very smooth!
Our only complaint was the water pressure. It was so bad it made it difficult to shower or do dishes. With that being said I wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again for a short stay but would not recommend six people staying here.

Beautiful home in Bowdoinham, Me
Publié le 28 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe loved the cabin. The view is spectacular (we saw 3 bald eagles), the cabin itself is very modern and has very good air conditioning. It was quite warm during our stay, so it was great to have a cool refuge. We loved the proximity to places of interest like Bath, Boothbay Harbor and others. Go to the Sea Dog Brewery in Topsham for some great food, and amazing scenery. One of our favorite meals was at Three Robbers Pub just a few minutes away in Bowdoinham. We had a lovely week at the house and in Maine. Note: the dishwasher is out of service and the grill (charcoal) should be replaced, but these were minor inconveniences for us.
