Great stay, had everything we needed
Publié le 25 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat place for a great price. The neighborhood is pretty nice and fairly safe. The only complaint i have is the shower is a bit of a deathtrap. Super slippery with no mat to stand on. I would let my kids shower there. The water pressure in the shower could also be used to strip paint. But for the price, i would definitly stay here again

Clean place, convenient location
Publié le 27 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I stayed here for the weekend and enjoyed the convenience of the location to the activities and restaurants we wanted to go to. The place is also very clean and well kept, and has 2 bedrooms & one bath - all which are upstairs. Our main concern was the air conditioning did not keep the temp cool enough upstairs due to there not being a vent or fan in the master bedroom - so please keep that in mind if it’s summer & you like a cool room at night…you may want to reconsider or bring a fan. Also the stairs are VERY steep & have no railing on one side so it does not seem safe for young children or anyone with physical disabilities - and was not ideal for our dogs. We also had a hard time finding places to take our dogs to the restroom on the property so we had to go across the street to the university campus to find enough grassy area for this.

Run!!!
Publié le 17 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayIt had ants all over the back door wall. It had birds living in the master room wall. We found a bed bug as we where getting ready to leave. The owner said they would take care of the ants the next day never did. When I asked for a a refund for 2 night they where rude and said they could only do 1 night but I couldn’t leave a review. I told them it was fine when I got home I contacted the owner and I was told I had to wait 14 days before they would do a refund, so the knew I wouldn’t leave a review. If I want to leave a 5 star review they would refund me right away. Then once 14 days was up I texted the owner and I was blocked. So I called VRBO to get a refund and I’m getting the run around from them also. Beware if you stay here.

Unfortunately, Jaclyn and her guests had an inexcusable poor experience at our home. We had a nest of birds fly through a vent and nest in our roof. We could not get a contractor out over the weekend but the day after she checked out we resolved the issue. We offered a one night refund and Jaclyn demanded her entire stay be refunded. She elevated the issue to VRBO and they also refused the full refund. We additionally offered to come back at any time for free but that was not good enough. Please read our other reviews as well because this review does not give a full picture of our service as hosts or the incredible home we offer in bowling green.

Beautifully renovated, all the essentials
Publié le 21 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed the modest back deck with two chairs, in this clean and quiet college neighborhood. It was what we needed for our short stay while in town for a funeral. We contacted the owners, as they had suggested, if there was anything we needed but didn't find. We asked for a hairdryer, ironing board and iron and were told these should have been in the unit. The owners came through and had these items to us early the next morning after we notified him they were not in the unit. We did not find the air bed, and the fourth adult slept comfortably on the sofa using the bedding from one bunk bed.

Kentucky Get Away
Publié le 31 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayVery nice, could walk to downtown restaurants. There was only 2 pots, no frying pan. No blow dryer, or hook or hanger to hang towels in the bathroom. Fridge and silverware drawer needed to be cleaned.

Conveniently located for a short stay in BG
Publié le 27 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayThis was a clean and comfortable place for a 5 day stay. Good central location especially if you need to be near WKU. It's practically on campus. Since we are displaced from our home so we are traveling with more stuff than if we were on vacation. That made our experience a bit challenging and we missed some things, like a kitchen table and a bathmat. But all the amenities you would need are available and the place was cool for a very, very hot summer week. Hosts are responsive and check-in and check-out was a breeze. Recommend!
