Fantastic SW Texas getaway
Publié le 30 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe wanted a home base that gave us the flexibility to visit Seminole Canyon State Park, Lake Amistad, Garner State Park, and Kickapoo State Park. This location was fantastic for that purpose.
The Fort Clark Springs community is a great place neighborhood (the old fort area is interesting itself!), and we were greeted on our arrival by a great horned owl on the electrical pole next to the driveway. The turkeys and deer that roamed the golf course behind the property in the mornings were an added plus for us as well.
The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and the house was spotless and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Great place!
Publié le 24 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis house is beautiful and had plenty of space for myself, my sister and her husband to stay. Check-in and out was pretty straight forward with no surprises. I would definitely stay here again!
My only suggestions would be to have some information about Fort Clark Springs in the house. We had some time our last night and drove around to take pictures of the old buildings and would have liked to know more about the history. Also maybe some board games or cards for people who stay.

Nice and comfortable stay
Publié le 25 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayNice and comfortable stay. Lotsa deer morning noon and night. Also saw turkeys hanging around. Recommend ensuring dishwasher soap in unit(pod tub empty under sink). Water cooler was empty. Lastly, we brought Kuereg coffee pods, but unit only had conventional drip coffee maker. We went to Valero for our morning coffee.

Fort Clark Holiday
Publié le 27 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe have previously stayed at the hotel in Fort Clark as well as the duplex next to it. This year for Thanksgiving we rented Tina's place. The home is wonderful! It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Unfortunately, it rained most of the time we were there but we were able to watch the deer and turkey from the windows. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Brackettville House
Publié le 13 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe were in town for a family birthday party. This house was absolutely perfect. Great layout, all the amenities we needed and very comfortable. Hosts were very communicative and accommodating. We will definitely be staying. In this place again.
