I really wanted to love this place, we booked on the night and really liked the look of the place however, we stayed during a heatwave (27degrees) no air conditioning and the window only opened a slight bit so was really hot! With the window open you could hear noise from the road and cars in the carpark.
Also the bedsheets felt weird to touch and there was a slight smell of urine which was quite noticeable and unpleasant.

A well located period property set in lovely grounds with a stunning view of the Wiltshire countryside. The bedroom was comfortable and the bar and restaurant area were perfectly acceptable. The toilet in the bedroom bathroom did not flush properly and the shower head could do we descaling. Otherwise a very nice comfortable stay.

Nice old hotel
Posted Aug. 5, 2024 on HotelsConvenient for Bradford on Avon. Our room was double aspect and big. Comfy bed and lovely views. Hotel has nice grounds and we had a drink on the terrace one evening. First night our room was not serviced. The duty manager kindly attended to our room straight away and did a great job. It was not explained at check in that cleaning is on request. The matter was quickly & professionally resolved. It's a nice old hotel in a great location but some areas could do with an update. All in all I would stay again as the room was large, plenty of parking and a short walk to Bradford on Avon.

Calm overnight in a busy travel schedule
Posted Aug. 4, 2024 on HotelsAfter a day in Bath, I chose the Leigh Park so as not to pay for parking. How much more I got! The beautiful setting and nice room was a calming place after more than three weeks of travel. After an early breakfast, we could easily reach our next destination, Stonehenge.

Normally it’s great but had to sit in the bar for breakfast and there was a wedding and felt pushed out as there were no seats inside or the garden for hotel guests
