Although the 5 star review is appreciated, we were very disappointed to see the condition that the cabin was left in when our cleaning crew arrived. We work very hard to maintain cleanliness and quality of our cabins. In return, we expect our guests to comply with our cabin rules; and treat our cabins and property with respect.

Amazing getaway!

Cozy cabin

A charming and well-equipped cabin on a secluded mountain offered a peaceful and delightful stay!

"It was a fantastic, charming, and lovely cabin located on top of a mountain in a secluded spot. A delightful stay. We enjoyed the grill, firepit, and also the peace and quiet (no busy roads, truly remote) to completely relax. The cabin is fully equipped with amenities such as a shower, hot water, fiber-optic (!!) internet, and a well-stocked kitchen. Our stay was wonderful as we explored the beautiful surroundings of the Finger Lakes and Upstate NY from here. We did lose power for a short time due to a tropical storm, but the owner quickly helped us get everything back up and running. Very helpful and quick to respond! Warm greetings from Europe, the Netherlands, Hengelo."

We are so glad that you enjoyed your visit in our lovely cabin. We put a lot of effort in to making our rental cabins be as clean and comfortable as possible and we try to have everything there that you might need for your stay. Believe it or not, but some guests just come to our cabins with well stocked supplies and never leave until their visit is over.
Anyway, safe trip home and we would love to host you again some day but let’s not have the tropical hurricane this time!

Weekend stay in Branchport
Publié le 18 août 2024 sur HomeAwayYour cabin is very nice, especially the inside. We were surprised to see the unmowed lawn since the inside is impeccable. Another suggestion is to cut the weeds at the back of the building since they are now growing up through the slats of the porch floor and some were taller than the porch rail.
Otherwise, beautiful!

Thanks for your five star review. We work hard to make guest stays enjoyable and apologize we didn’t meet all your expectations. However, with hurricane Debbie we received 7 inches of rain recently and because of this, some of the cabin yards were just too wet to mow. This was the case with this cabin but the good news is that the maintenance team was able to mow the yard after drying out, the day you submitted your review.
Please visit us again and this time, we hopefully won’t have been flooded out and both the inside and outside of the cabin will look great!

Home away from home

We didn’t spend too much time in the cabin, but it was there when we needed to. It had everything we needed for our stay. The cabin was perfectly situated for driving to several different destinations.

Thanks for the awesome review! And I agree, our area does WOW visitors. I'm glad you pointed out that we are literally in the middle of this beautiful pristine landscape and are an easy drive to many parks and activities, like golf, skiing, hiking and water sports. Keuka Lake State Park, Watkins Glen, Letchworth State Park, Italy Hill Forest, The Windmill and lots of restaurants, shopping and antiques are close by.
In reality, throw in the wineries, breweries and distilleries and our guest would need to book a month to see and do al the area has to offer.
Please come back to stay with us again some time. We have many, many repeat guests.

Save your pennies as I hope to retire within 5 years and maybe you can own, The Fox in the Henhouse.
Kidding aside, we have lots of repeat guests and this is the coziest and most private cabin. It’s the only one with a covered porch to.
All four of our cabins are within a couple miles of one another an each has something unique. Be it custom craftsmanship on the interior, more space, larger yards, and each has a different theme. Yours was Adirondack and others are Safari, Homestead etc.
