Great cottage by the best little beach

Wonderful little touches such as fresh filtered water, bottle of wine etc.
Super convenient to the best little beach, which was what I was looking for. Definitely on a busy street though. That would be the only potential down side.

Nice small house

Just right for us!
Publié le 13 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was the cutest little cottage! Just right for my wife and I and our two dogs. The inside was very charming and it was stocked with everything we needed. We especially loved the location as it was close to everything and convenient for our family we visited close by. We liked that it had a small fenced yard out back for the dogs and there was also a fenced dog park nearby. The hosts were very accommodating and answered any questions we had. We would definitely stay here on our next trip to the area. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Disappointing
Publié le 1 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayNice neighborhood but busy location right near a stop sign locals fly through. Driveway extremely tough only access on main road owner requests park close to house to give him access to his house next door and has some areas blocked with garbage cans which makes more than one car visiting impossible.I had to confirm to the owner we needed the second bed made up even though I clearly booked for 2 adults 2 kids so needed all 3 beds. The four poster in the master creaks every time you move and the guest room second bed is more of a temporary cot than a bed, bedrooms very tight.
Downstairs is better with enough space for 4
Electricity went off when family was getting ready for my wedding and owner came over to reset / restart it which was good
I booked it for family as it was my wedding that weekend and noticed a mark on the counter and a tray of water in the oven on arrival that we thought was very strange , my family forgot to take a picture as requested and busy with my wedding I forgot to mention to the owner. We were charged for damages we did not do and I am not happy with the owners insistence he checked the property before we arrived as he clearly did not.
I have never had less than a great review left or received and am disappointed .

Living room was a little tight for 4 adults, but we definitely made it work. We were in town for mom's 80th birthday, and this home was within 2 miles. We would absolutely stay here again.

It was the perfect little house in a beautiful area.

Our only regret was the weather kept us from enjoying the front porch which would have been a great place for morning coffee. The property is very charming.

Within 2 hours we were transported to such a quaint home -- so comfortable, clean and cozy. I am still missing the wrap around porch. The home is so close to so many little towns.. for antiquing and and good food! So close to the coast -- and the tour of Thimble Islands! Wow! Our host gave us a tip for the MOST glorious beach! Such a memorable time. I We plan to book again ! Soon!

They were great guests, enjoyed to talk with them,my wife and I would say if you could pick your guests we would pick them. The house was left clean and neat , they were a pleasure to host. Hope to see them again.
