We loved relaxing on the floating dock and sitting around the fire in the evening. Lisa and Mike were extremely hospitable and communicative. We can’t wait to stay there again!

We are so happy you enjoyed all the area has to offer. Spring’s, Rivers, State Parks, Biking trails, and being out in nature. We are fortunate that we are centrally located to all of these places. Also sitting on the floating dock is like sitting in the middle of the river. Glad you enjoyed the chimenea fire pit right by the cottage and watching sunsets on the dock. We have wonderful family owned restaurants in all directions from the cottage. So you don’t have to cook if you don’t want to bother. Please come back again!

Thank you! We are centrally located to all the major springs on the Ichetucknee, Santa Fe and Suwannee Rivers. We also have 4 State Park within 10-15 miles of our cottage. We enjoyed reading your remarks in our guest book. Please come again.

Peaceful cottage on the river
Publié le 23 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe getaway cottage was exactly as advertised. It was the perfect size for the two of us, and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. It was a short walk to the dock. Mike met us at the property for a quick tour, then left us to enjoy their beautiful property. We plan on making a trip back sometime next year.

Very relaxing visit.

Publié le 10 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayMike & Laura were awesome. Very sweet. Everything was perfect. The property was gorgeous. The bread and bubbly were perfect for our honeymoon. The boardwalk was supercool. It was nice to enjoy the river in the morning and evening. We are definitely planning a return visit.

Birthday weekend

Secluded enough to enjoy our down time, but close to grocery stores, restaurants, & outdoor activities. We loved our stay & want to return!

Just like Home-away
Publié le 6 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I had a wonderful time. We were close to all the springs we wanted to snorkel and we enjoyed our mornings and evenings watching the wildlife. It was definitely off the beaten path but worth the drive. Accommodations were more than enough to make us feel at home.

Can’t wait until you get to return to spend more quiet, relaxing time at the Hideaway Cottage. So many places to visit, local restaurants to try, springs and rivers to explore. A short stay is not long enough to see and experience all the three rivers area has to offer in north Florida.

Being immersed in nature, visiting freshwater springs, boating down three major rivers, Ichetucknee, Santa Fe and the Suwannee, seeing mullet, manatees, deer, turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, hawks, owls, ibis and herons. Thanks for visiting us. We enjoyed meeting you both. Come back!
