Hotel familial, bon confort, difficile à trouver
Publié le 18 août 2012 sur HotelsAvons eu de la peine à trouver l'hôtel car il est connu sur place sous un autre nom: "Welk Resort" et l'adresse communiquée n'était pas connue par notre GPS. Pour le reste, hôtel sympathique plutôt destiné à des familles. Concierge très pro.

This is a great place. The hotel suite was beautiful, the bathroom had a huge tub and shower with soft water. The bed's were comfortable and clean. The kitchen had everything you could think of. The house blend coffee was great. If i could buy that I would. The pool and pool house was clean and a lot of fun. BONUS. We were able to swim and use the any of the activity's before our room was ready. Definity will stay again and again.

The facilities are nice, it is quiet, which is what I wanted.

I was extremely surprised when we arrived at the property, based on the pictures, I expected more of a resort atmosphere. Instead, I felt like an apartment complex.
It felt old and a bit run down. Our room was nice, but again, older. We had a patio with chairs, but the view was of power lines.
The “resort” had a pool and gym, but no food, drinks, etc.
The kicker was when I went to take a bath in the big tub and found a bunch of hair. Yuck!
It appears they are remodeling, so hopefully it’ll improve in the future.

We enjoyed our stay for a short family vacation. Our toddlers enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool and splash pad area, and they slept well in our unit thanks to the separate living room space and black-out curtains that were in the room. The only problem we encountered was the elevator going out on our first day there, but thankfully we were able to unload our luggage before it went out, and it was working again promptly. Will definitely consider staying here again in the future!
