This was a great property for our family of 6. This included 3 young children. Plenty of room, beds, and play areas. The only disappointment was the “private lake”. We found it the first day but never returned because the walk was extremely challenging going down into a steep incline which you had to climb out of to get back to our cabin. This isn’t a feature that should be included as an attraction for young families as it is very impractical and unusable. Otherwise the property, cabin, pools were perfect!

Publié le 3 janv. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe are 2 small families and it seemed 3 bedrooms would be perfect. The write up does say the 3rd bedroom is off of the Master, but which is the 3rd? Well- it’s the one you wish it wasn’t. You are literally 2 steps from one bed to the other.
The other problem is that the bedroom is really an enclosed porch. This room is ice cold, and the space heater provided barely runs. The lovely dining porch is the same. Too cold to use this time of year, so we found ourselves pretty crowded in the house itself.
On the plus side- the sleeper sofa is comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious, and we enjoyed a lovely fire each night with wood they provided.
When I called Larry about the fire- he answered and was helpful.

We are so sorry it was so cold when you were there. When we spoke on the phone if you would have indicated the 3rd bedroom was cold we could have had our house keeper bring an additional heater. This was right in the worst of the coldest days of the year with temps going to 7 below zero. We know of 2 owners that had to cancel their guests because they could not get the temp above 55 degrees. The wood burning fire place was a life saver during that time.
For future guest regarding the 3rd bedroom and the deck (porch).
This is in the first few lines of the description:
Note: The 3rd bedroom is converted from part of the deck which has to be entered through the master bedroom. For families this is not a problem but for mixed couples this might not be comfortable.
I don't know how to describe it better. It is not fine print!
The deck (porch) does not have any Heat or AC and it is not comfortable in extreme heat or cold conditions.

Great place to stay.

The property manager was unhappy that we could not unhook the trailer every time we were at the property. Ultimately they agreed to let us leave our trailer hooked up. We parked at an angle across all 4 spots that appeared to belong to the cabin. Our trailer was never in the street or anyone else’s way.

Branson cabin

I needed a wheelchair handicap and it stated it was but you could not get a wheelchair around in it all. Even my walker wouldn’t go through bedroom to bathroom and there was a step to get into shower. Overall it was quaint and would rent again with less family and no handicapped people. I just had knee replacement 3 weeks ago and it was not very conducive for that.

Thank you for the great review but so sorry you were confused with the wheelchair. We try to be very clear that the cabin is accessible but not maneuverable in the bedrooms. We are so glad you were able to make it work for you.
This is the way we describe it in the add: Wheelchair accessible,
You can enter with a wheelchair but you cannot manuever a chair in the bedrooms.

Beautiful Cozy Cabin
Publié le 22 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe loved staying here. Close to everything, but very quiet. The kitchen is well supplied and had everything we needed. It was cold enough to have a fire in the fireplace, which was just awesome. Would stay here again. If there was anything negative, it would be the 3rd bedroom is very small. But it worked for us.
